Your papá appears to be lost in thought and leaves the room silently, still not wanting to give away his plan. He leaves you there, mind racing, unable to tell him you are not happy with the plan for fear of what he will say and fear of being found out. 'Hmmm, shape-shifting, quite an interesting gift.' You think to yourself as you go and sit on your bed and stare at the ceiling. 'I guess his room can shape-shift too?' you decide, looking around at your clone bedroom. You hear a knock at the door and freeze. You don't want to see your papá again, he'll probably want to take your gift to steal some more powers. You sigh and the door opens, but it's not your papa.

Camilo peaks in and sees you awake. "Oh, mornin'. Can I come in?" he asks. You look up at him and he tilts his head to the side a comedic amount.

"Yea that's ok," you say without thinking.

"I think I got bit by a spider or something, I had this really sharp pain this morning then I also couldn't use my gift for a while, so weird..." Camilo starts as he walks in, but you spy the piece of paper your papá was writing on on the bedside table next to you. You try to quickly grab it and sit on it before he sees it. He smirks.

"Writing secrets?" He teases as he comes to sit next to you. You go red in the face. He's dressed now. You notice how tall and lanky he is before he sits.

"What is it? I promise I won't tell." He looks at you playfully. You bite your tongue, unsure of what to say.

"Umm..." you start, not wanting to be suspiciously quiet for too long.

"Oh and don't worry, Dolores can't hear us in here." he smiles with a mock sinister look. "Can you?" he yells over his shoulder. You look at him in confusion.

"Dolores?" You query. He eyes you with curiosity.

"My sister? The one who hears everything?" He says expectantly. You stare at him blankly, but you do feel better that supposedly, whoever she is, she can't hear you. He laughs.

"Huh, guess I just expect most people to know us... Do you know any of the family?" He asks raising an eyebrow mischievously. You're glad he seems to have forgotten about the piece of paper and the 'Spider bite'.

"Ummm, you? I think I met Mirabel last night, someone gave me some food... I'm guessing it was your Abulea that sent us to your room. Ummmmm..." You say looking up in thought. You're still a bit careful of what you say out of habit.

"Do you know my gift?" He wiggles his eyebrows at you. 'Shape-shifting' you think to yourself, but then you ponder if you should know yet, or if that is suspicious. Before you can think yourself in circles you're face to face with yourself for the second time today.

"Guess the mirrors make sense." You joke.

"You know what, I never caught your name." Your clone says.

"Y/N, Nice to meet... me," You say, with a grimacing smile, still a little weirded out by seeing a clone of yourself. He laughs.

"Camilo," He says morphing back into himself. His hair does a cute bounce as it morphs back into place. "Pop quiz?" He asks raising his eyebrows enthusiastically. You furrow your brow, but then he morphs into Mirabel.

"Oh, haha that's Mirabel." You say.

"One point for the good guys." He says. You cringe a little internally. You don't feel like the good guy, but you brush it off, maybe you'll be able to speak to your papá later. He then morphs into a girl that looks to be about 24 that you vaguely remember from last night.

"Ummmm...?"

"Dolores," they say, extending a hand to you.

"Oh right." You say shaking it. You wonder if it would feel weird morphing into your sister. Camilo seems pretty confident and self assured. It would probably take a lot to properly weird him out.

"Oh and I'm serious about her not being able to hear us. Her gift is that she hears literally everything but thankfully, since the rebuild, our rooms are soundproof. It's probably nice of casita to allow her some peace and quiet... and stop her for hearing her aunts and uncles making babies." He chuckles. "Before she would be able to hear everything including our cousin's eye twitch late at night, how she got any sleep is beyond me." He's still quite animated when he talks, with little gestures and flourishes. You're glad to hear you're free to talk here. Dolores must be the reason people can't keep secrets here but supposedly now you're safe when in a bedroom. Talking is now probably a better idea than having to hide notes. You look up at Camilo, waiting for him to shift again.
