The taste of Annabeth's blue cookies fill my mouth, I know its hers because she is not the best cook, but I love them all the same. My eyes slowly open and realize I'm in a dank and dark cave, a lone campfire makes the wall dance in orange flame. A little girl tending to the fire. "Anna" I try to speak but pain shoots through my body, the girl rushes over to me. "Percy stay still." She places her hand on my forehead, her hand oddly warm making me feel like I'm home. "What happened?" I manage to push out. A sad look washes over her, golden ichor comes out of her eyes like tears, she wipes them and sniffles. "The gods... determined your child would be to strong. So, they voted... I was the only nay.... I'm so sorry Percy they killed them... all of them." The little girl starts to cry, tears started to build up, but my anger overruled it.

"Are you sure?" I say through gritted teeth. She nods as she sobs, "I saw... I saw the...b...bod..." I put my hand on her shoulder, "Its ok you don't need to finish. How can I kill a god?" I say and the girl lifts her head up. "I knew you would say that, so I fix your sword Riptide. There is one way to kill a god, I sword forged in golden ichor, gods blood, it then turns a glowing red." She hands me Riptide in its pen form, I click it and Riptide apers, instead of its glowing gold, it's a menacing red glow.

"you're dying Percy Jackson." She looks at me. "What? I can't die yet!" I try sitting up, but my insides fell like they are mush. "A bolt of lightning struck you and you passed out, I brought you here and gave you ambrosia, but it will only do so much. That's why I'm giving you my life, Percy Jackson." She smiles, but it's a sad smile. "Hestia, what are you saying?" I hold her hand. "After today, I no longer wish to be a god." She holds her hands out and a shiny golden apple forms in her hand. "Once you take a bite of this apple, my powers will go to you, that includes being immortal and the ability to fire walk." She hands me the apple. "Fire walk?" I ask holding the apple in my hands. "It allows you to travel though fire, it means you can teleport to any fire pit. So please Percy Jackson, take my powers and take your revenge on the gods... and thank you for noticing me all those years ago."

I take her in my arms and hold her, I take a bite of the apple. My body feels weightless, no more pain. Hestia holds me as her body begins to fade away in golden dust. "Thank you..." she says as she disappears from my arms.
