(No One's P.O.V.)

The Sieks family is standing in front of Ozpin's desk, Glynda is standing at the side of the desk, and Ozpin is sitting at the desk.

Caleb: Mom's hearing a voice? What's it saying?

Jay: Things that aren't so good. Things that... I don't know if I should say.

Ozpin: I believe that you should be specific. To find out what the source of the voice could be, it would be very helpful to know what it's saying. Even if it exposes something we wish would stay secret a little while longer.

Caleb: What is that supposed to mean?

Jay and Ozpin exchange a glance before nodding.

Jay: You should know. It would be better if you hear it from me.

Caleb: Hear what?

Jay: The voices pertain to what's going to happen in the future.

Jay glances at Paige to see she's still shaken up from it before looking back at Caleb.

Jay: You're destined to be something great. And that's just not me being proud of or hopeful of my son. That's something we know to be true.

Caleb: What am I destined to be?

Jay: The Fire Lord.

Caleb: What's that?

Jay: It's what I am right now. And it's what you will become when I die.

Caleb: How does that work?

Ozpin: Your entire family possesses the semblance to control and manifest fire. This stems from your ancestor's possession of the power of the Fire Lord. He was the first. Since then the power was used to protect the innocent and smite those who are considered evil.

Kelly: Is that what you did dad?

Jay: At one point. Up until there was nothing else to do.

Caleb: What is that supposed to mean?

Ozpin: It means that the world was thrust into a great period of peace. The one we're currently experiencing and have been for quite some time now.

Jay: All I've had to do is help raise my beautiful family.

Ozpin: And you've done a very good job.

Jay: I know.

Ozpin: Now back to the matter at hand. What things was this voice saying?

Paige: That neither Jay or Caleb deserved the power. Whoever this was said he deserved it more, and that he would use it for a greater purpose.

Ozpin: He?

Paige: That's what it sounded like. Then it said it wouldn't be him that would hurt either of them.

Ozpin: Hmm.

Glynda: You know what this could be?

Ozpin: Not at this moment. There are plenty of things I know about in this world and that isn't one of them.

Jay: That's different. I usually don't hear you say I don't know.

Ozpin: It does happen.

Caleb: So you don't know how to help my mom?

Ozpin: I'm sorry. But I won't stop looking into it, I promise. For now, I give you permission to go back home with your family. It sounds like you all need to be together right now.
