Shane is sitting at the table staring at the pod when Ironwood comes walking in.
Ironwood: You called for me?
Shane: Yeah. Just wanted to let you know that we're about to arrive in Atlas.
Ironwood: Thank you for telling me. I'll go inform the others.
Shane nods, still staring at the pod.
Ironwood: How often have you actually left this room?
Shane: Not too often. I just can't stop thinking about it. Not in the "I want to use it way"... just... trying to figure out what our enemies might want to do with it.
Ironwood: Well, from what I've read about them, it can't be anything good. Let's just be glad we have it in our possession.
Shane nods at him again.
Ironwood goes walking out of the room.
Inside of the room with Caleb laying on the bed, Ruby is holding his hand as she stares down at the bed.
Kelly: He cares about you, too. I think you'd be great together.
Ruby blushes right before Caleb starts stirring, squeezing her hand a few times before slowly opening his eyes.
He lets out a long groan.
Caleb: Where am I...?
Ruby: We're in an airship. The guy who owns it rescued us from Beacon.
Caleb goes to sit up, wincing in pain as Ruby stands up, putting a hand on his arm, and Kelly comes up to him.
Kelly: Don't push yourself, big brother. You still need time to recover.
Caleb nods slowly, glancing down at his hand intertwined with Ruby's as he feels it, looking back up at Ruby.
Kelly: I'll give you two a moment.
She goes walking out of the room.
Caleb: Ruby... how long were you holding my hand?
Ruby: Uh, well... Um... I was holding it... for a while...
A blush forms on her face again as Caleb smiles. She maintains eye contact with him as she slowly retracts her hand from his.
Caleb: You don't have to...
Her hand stops, slowly inching back into his.
Caleb: There was this dream I was having. You were brought up.
Ruby: I-I was...?
Caleb: Ruby... I care about you a lot...
Ruby smiles at him.
Caleb: And I... I...
Without finishing his sentence, Ruby knows exactly what he's going to say, leaning down toward him.
Ruby: I do, too.
Putting his hand on her cheek, he gently pulls her the rest of the way, and their lips meet. Closing their eyes as they both sink into it, placing her hand on the back of his head as he continues cupping her cheek.
They separate after a few seconds later.
Ruby: That needed to happen.
Caleb: I agree.
They smile at each other.
Caleb: Do you know anything about what's going on here?
Ruby: No... not really. I've been in here with you for the entire time.
