(No One's P.O.V.)
The scene opens up to team CMTS's dorm room.
Yang is sitting on the floor playing video games with Mark. Caleb is sitting on his bed next to Ruby and Kelly. Jason is sitting on the bed across from him next to Weiss and Luke. Blake is sitting on the bed against the wall behind Jason, Weiss, and Luke. Pyrrha and Jaune are sitting on the floor at the foot of the bed that Caleb is sitting on. Ren and Nora are sitting on the floor at the foot of the bed that Jason is sitting on. Gyoe is sitting on the windowsill with his arms crossed.
Mark: YES! That's what you get! All of that torture you put me through over the last half hour in this game, and I finally beat you!
Yang looks over at him, smiling.
Yang: I'm happy for you. Not many people can say they've beaten me at this game.
Mark: How many people have you played with?
Yang: Well... just really Ruby and our uncle Qrow. But the number of times I've beaten Ruby makes up for that.
Ruby: Smearing! I've never actually lost to you! Your use of cookies against me always caused me to lose. You have yet to defeat me fairly.
Caleb looks over at them and smiles as Gyoe notices Caleb's necklace on the end table, glancing down at it. He sighs before looking back up.
Yang: Is that so, sis? How about you take me on right now? There's no way I could that to you with all of these witnesses.
Ruby: You're on!
Mark hands the controller off to Ruby and he sits down next to Caleb.
Mark: Would you want a go after?
Caleb: No, I'm good. Not in the mood for video games right now.
Mark: That's all good. There's always another time.
Luke: Would you still be up to going down to Vale? I'm sure there's something that we can all do.
Caleb: Yeah, sure. Even if it's just a relaxing walk or something, that sounds good. Could use something like that to help... clear my head.
Kelly clutches Caleb's arm, prompting him to look at her.
Caleb: What is it?
Kelly: I want to do that, too. Clear my head.
Gyoe: Walking in a park sounds nice, don't get me wrong. But there's a place that I think would be better for the both of them.
Caleb: What would that be?
Gyoe: The place your father used to take you and your sister. There would be no distractions there.
Caleb: Does that mean our friends can't come?
Gyoe: Maybe some other time. But I think it should just be me, you, and your sister this time.
Ruby: Hey, it'll be okay if we can't go.
Caleb looks at her.
Ruby: There are things that you have to do on your own sometimes. But we're still going to be supporting the both of you from here. You'll get to show us that place some other time, like your uncle said.
Mark: Yeah, don't worry about it. This is something you have to do, and we don't want to get in the way of it. We'll find things to do until you get back.
Jaune: Absolutely. We'll be waiting for you.
Caleb then looks at Gyoe.
Caleb: Okay. I'll go.
