Ironwood, Qrow, and Glynda are standing in a room around a round table with the pod sitting on it. There's also a screen mounted on the wall, along with a full window, and sensors going up along the doorway.
Glynda: Why did you agree to his help without talking to anybody else first?
Qrow: Yeah, James. It kind of seemed like you knew who that was already. You plan on sharing with us?
Ironwood lets out a sigh.
Ironwood: Yes, I know him. He created the Ecto Agency, if that wasn't obvious. He always had a curiosity in the powerful and mystical objects out in the world. But not because he wanted them for himself, but because he wanted to hide them from those who would use them to hurt humanity.
He looks at the pod.
Ironwood: After all, Shane started the search for the other stones after we found this one. He always thought he was close to a few of them, but never could quite be certain. That's at least what I know. Ever since the peaceful divorce, there's no telling what he could've found by now.
Qrow: Well, it's certainly better than nothing. And with what those four just did, Paige seemed to be in a pretty weakened state. Might give us the proper time to actually come up with something.
Glynda: And for Ozpin to find us again.
Ironwood: Yes, time is our ally right now. We must take advantage of it.
The door opens and Shane comes walking through the sensors, which light up green.
Shane: I was checking up on something. The damage report on Beacon is extensive. No telling how long it'll take to rebuild it.
Glynda: You're working on that already?
Shane: Yeah, of course. There always needs to be a Beacon Academy.
Glynda: Then I'd like to supervise it. That place was important and deserves undivided attention to rebuild.
Shane smiles at her.
Shane: Don't worry. I'll let my team know they're under your supervision. We'll go see them after we're done here.
She nods at him right before he looks at the pod.
Shane: Was the attack about this?
Qrow: No. This didn't even seem to be on their mind.
Shane: Then what was it about?
Ironwood: Those four students that collapsed.
Shane: What could be so special about four students?
Ironwood: That's... quite the story.
Now in a bedroom with Caleb lying unconscious in the bed, Ruby is sitting at his bedside.
Ruby: I don't know about you, but I was certainly scared throughout that entire thing. For our friends, for our families... and I was scared for you. I didn't want to lose you... and when I saw you collapse, so many thoughts ran through my head. Regret that I'd never get to tell you that I...
She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before opening them again.
Ruby: But then I was so relieved. That power just took a really big toll on you. And I can't wait until you wake up.
Ruby hesitantly reaches out to Caleb before taking his hand in hers.
Gyoe and Kelly then come walking into the doorway. He takes notice of her holding his hand immediately, smiling.
