(No One's P.O.V.)
The scene opens up to Ozpin's office at Beacon Academy. Ozpin is standing behind his desk while Gyoe stands in front. Caleb and Kelly are standing behind Gyoe and Kelly is holding Caleb tightly, crying into his shoulder. Caleb is staring down at the floor, letting a few tears slide down his face right before they drop to the floor.
Ozpin: Losing both Jay and Paige was a tragedy. Two of the greatest warriors and people I knew.
Gyoe: Paige isn't completely lost. We just have to figure out whoever is doing this and find a way to stop them.
Ozpin: Then she's simply metaphorically. I suppose it's the same thing, though. We wouldn't have her expertise.
Gyoe: Do you have any idea who could be doing this?
Ozpin: This remains to be one thing that perplexes me. The person behind this seems to be beyond my understanding. But I have Glynda and the other professors looking hard into. We'll find out whoever did this and we will bring a stop to them. I promise.
Gyoe: I'll do whatever I can to help, too. But I suppose we should worry about the immediate future first. Jay's funeral.
Ozpin: Indeed. I'll send an announcement out to the students about it. Tell them in further in an assembly later today.
Gyoe: Good. Thank you. I'll be there.
Caleb: I'm going to do what I can to help, too.
Gyoe and Ozpin both look at Caleb.
Gyoe: You don't have to. I don't expect you to.
Caleb: I don't care who this is. This person took our parents from us. Made us feel so sad and hurt, I want to teach them a lesson.
Gyoe: Which would be what?
Caleb: They're messing with the wrong family.
Gyoe glances at Ozpin before looking back at Caleb, nodding.
The scene then cuts to Paige and Cinder. Paige starts looking around while walking to the right as Cinder keeps staring at her.
Cinder: What are you? How do you know my name?
Paige: Come now, Cinder. That question should have an obvious answer, should it not? I inhabit her body therefore I can see all of her memories. All of her sad regretful memories... and they all contain you.
Cinder grits her teeth as she narrows her eyes at Paige.
Paige: I know everything she does. Like how much you hated that family. You were hurt, weren't you? I don't blame you. All of that love going your way until two more come to take it instead. Truly is heartbreaking. You made the right choice when you left. I don't reckon it would've gotten any better for you.
Cinder: Why do you say that?
Paige: The circumstances. They didn't like that you wanted to live your own life. The mere thought of it strangled their soul. Yet you didn't care. Still went your own way despite everything, and you seem to be doing a very good job at it.
Cinder: What do you want?
Paige: There it is. The grand question. I want you to help me in my quest.
Cinder: Which would be what?
Paige: Tell me, Cinder. Do you know of the power the Sieks family possesses?
Cinder: They possess a power?
Paige: Thought so. The Sieks family houses the power of the great Fire Lord. One of four great Lords that walk Remnant.
