Mateo's beginning 3

Mateo's pov:

"MATEO GET READY FOR SCHOOL!" Yelled my Mom from downstairs. I slowly get out of bed and check the time, 11 pm. 11 PM! I only have an hour to get ready. Eh, ill be there in 20 mins. I get out of bed and got dressed. After changing, I go get three bags and just throw stuff in there. Clothes, games, books, and anything that may be important to me. I then head downstairs and say goodbye to my parents. Today my parents can't give me a ride, so I take the subway to school. I know the weird way to go to school, but I am weird so I don't care. It somehow took 20 minutes, so by the time I got there, literately no one was there. Oh well. 

When I ran towards the building and face smack into the door. The man sitting by a desk ran over and asked me "Are you ok?"

"Yea, I'm ok, I tend to do this a lot."

"Alright....."He said with a weird look on his face. Welp, this guy already thinks I'm weird. Oh well. He then takes me over to his desk asks me for my name, then hands me a key.  

After all that interaction, I ran through the next doors, till I got to my dorm room. I took out my key and put it in. It didn't work... "HMMMMMMMMMM!" I said out loud to myself, "Why you ain't you working for me? HUH!" I try again and again, till I gave up. 

About 5 mins go by, till I look at my key number. It said number 213. I was at dorm 113.  "Welp," I say to myself. Then all of a sudden the person in dorm 113 came out.

"Uhhhhh, hi?' She said, "Do you need something? Are you lost?"

"Ahhhhh, sorry." I say, " Wrong dorm room."

"Oh well, that's ok. I'm Kenzie btw. And you areeeee?"

"Oh, uh Mateo. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too. Well, hope to see you again then."

"Waittttttt," I say putting my foot out to keep the door open.

"What?"

"Can I uhhhhhhhh have your number?"

"Oh, yea of course......here this is my number."

"Thank you, talk to you later then."

I then quickly ran to my dorm. As soon as I put the key in someone came and opened up the door.
