Riley's pov:

It's been quiet, to say the least. I wasn't expecting it to be loud, and fun. But this quiet? I don't even know if Cassian still wants to be friends with me.

"Ugh!" I crumpled up the paper I was writing on and tossed it in the trash. "Stupid stupid stupid" I grip my hair.

"Yeah, you are pretty fucking stupid" Cassian gets up off of the bottom bunk, slipping on a pair of shoes.

"Now where are you going?" I snap around in my chair, staring at her. She's almost at the door before she speaks.

"To hang out with friends. Cause I actually have some. Unlike poor oppressed you"

"Oh fuck you" I stand up. "They only hang with you because you're friends with Kenzie. They never invite you, unless Kenzie is also going. And I'm the poor oppressed one?"

Cassian lips part, but no sound escapes them.

"Oh, now you're silent?"

"Go fuck yourself" Cassian mumbles, slamming the door behind her.

Alone again. I lean back in my chair, staring at the door like an idiot, hoping she would come back-Knowing she won't. The silence was bad when we were in the same room, but now it seems as if the silence is growing louder the longer I'm left alone. It feels like a tight blanket is wrapped around me that I didn't ask for. Suffocating me, trying to make me break.

"UGH," I scream, shoving all my stuff off my desk. "WHAT THE FUCK." My eyesight becomes blurry, and before I know it I'm balling my eyes out. "She acts as if it was My fault" I start pacing around the small room, talking to myself. "I'm not the one stuck in the fucking past. If she wants to be stuck there, fine by me. But she doesn't have to DRAG MY ASS INTO IT." I scream falling to my knees. "Fuck my life."

Author note~                                                                                                                                                                 Guess what I lost motivation again....WHOOO. I wanted to make this chapter longer, but I really don't know what else to add to it.
