Cassian's pov:

"Good morning everyone."

I raise my head up and lock eyes with the teacher.

"My name is Mrs.Daisy. I hope we can all get along."

What kind of elementary bullshit is this.

"Today's class is going to be rather easy. All you need to do is write about what your summer break was like."

Now what if I had a shitty summer break. Would you really want me to write about that?

I sigh inside, taking out my journal and pen. I better write something down so I don't get into shit.

After school~

"PARTY AT MY HOUSE TONIGHT! THE WHOLE SCHOOL IS INVITED!"

"We should go."

I jump. "Jesus Riley, the fuck is your problem."

"What?" Riley gives me a confused look "Were you asleep?"

"No. I was just zoned out. But go to what exactly?"

"A party!"

"Why?"

"I don't know I just thought it would be fun and all. Us three haven't really done anything fun together. And I thought we could get closer this way too." Riley, smile fades as they finish their sentence

"Ugh. And Mateo is okay with this?"

"Huh?" Riley looks up. "Oh yeah, he's already getting ready"

I sigh "Fine, lets go"

"Wait, actually?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm not driving though"

"Oh, that's fine! Mateo is driving anyways"

"Great, we are all going to die"

"Would you rather me drive?"

"I think I prefer Mateo driving."

"Oh come on" Riley stomps their foot, like a little kid "Am I really not that trustworthy?"

"Yes"

 Riley glares at me before walking off. I presume they are now going to get ready, which I should too. I head over to the dorm and take out my nicest-looking clothes. 

"This should be just fine," I mumble, putting on a skirt, and a blouse. 

As I finish getting ready, Riley and Mateo walk in. "Where were you two?" I ask looking them up and down with a disappointed mom face.

"To get snacks!" Riley says jumping up and down

I glare at Mateo "Is she high?"

"Not my fault" Mateo throws his hands in the air "I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen to a fucken thing I would say"

"Great just great. And before a party. Where there is probably already going to be drugs and shit." I sigh loudly "Let's just go already"

Time skip~

3rd person pov:
When the three of them arrive it's already packed. They scoot around the crowd trying to find their own spot

"I wanna leave already" whined Riley, still high.

"Oh calm the fuck down. The party has barely even begun." Cassian grabs Riley's shoulders.

"Maybe if you and Mateo didn't fight your fucken heads off, I wouldn't be like this." Riley crosses their arms pouting.
