Chapter 14

Newt's POV:
"Do you think the building's power will stay on for us to come back again?" Minho asks.
"Doubt it, but it can," Thomas answers. I look over at (y/n) who look like she was about to fall asleep.
"Tired?" I asked.
"Yeah," she yawns.
"I'll carry you so that you can go to sleep," I say picking her up bridal style.
"Awwww," I hear the other say.
"Thanks Newt," (y/n) whispers. She buries her face in my chest and I can feel her breathing become steady.
"Just showing you guys how to treat a lady," I joke.
"I know how to treat a lady, Newt, I don't need your lessons," Tommy said.
"Then why don't you ever carry me?" Teresa asks.
"Because....." Thomas bites his lip. "Don't know."
"What about you, Minho? Did you find a girl that admires your hair?" I ask smirking.
"No, my hair doesn't need anyone but me," he says.
"What about Brenda?" Thomas asks. "Did you ask her out yet?"
"No! Brenda's not going to date a guy who nearly killed me when we first met," Jorge joked.
"Come on Jorge! You're the one that said you were going to cut my digests off," Minho smiled playfully punching Jorge.
"Okay then, ask her, right now," a grin appeared on Jorge's face.
"I don't know......lets wait for the right time," Minho said.
"Now or never, Minho, the hair won't last long enough," I say. "If you don't ask her now, she might find another guy with great hair."
"Tell me, who has better hair than me?" Minho asked.
"You know, I've always thought of Aris as something besides a friend..." Brenda smirked.
"Aris has a better chance than ou," Thomas says. Minho rolled his eyes.
"Brenda?"
"Yes...?" She asks.
"Will you go out with me?" He ask.
"Sure," she answers.
"This is where I come in as the overprotective father," Jorge said. "Minho, do you own a house? A car? Do you have money? Will you take care of her? Do you understand that if you hurt my little girl, I will kill you?"
"I own a house, a car, I have money, I will, and I do," Minho responds. "You done now?"
"They grow up so fast!" Jorge says pretending to cry.
"It's okay, Jorge, just how you were, is how I'm going to be," I smile.
"If it's a girl then you should be very protective, I'm just letting Minho off easy," he says.
We all continue walking and one by one, we all go home.
