(3 weeks later)
Y/N POV
"Did you guys see that?!?!?" Kenny asked in a whisper yell "Lia just asked to hang out with me." "Like outside of school." He said in a shocked tone a huge grin spread across his face. I knew what was going on but it was clear Kenny didn't. Actually I'm pretty sure everyone but Kenny knew. I mean the rumor has been going around for awhile. I figured it was time to tell him so I looked up to Theo for some kind of reassurance, but all i got was a simply shrug. "Hey Kenny, there is something I have been wanting to tell you." i said in an unsure tone. "Hmm?" He asked looking over at me. "Look you know people like Lia....They just..." I did not know what to say so i looked over at Theo hoping he would say something. "She thinks your gay." Theo blurted out. At this point we had left the school. "What why would she think that?!?" Kenny asked confused. "I don't know man" Theo said." But i mean maybe this is your chance to make your move you know." he said with a not very reassuring smile. "Not if she thinks he gay Theo" i responded.(Ahh did you guys get the reference?? if you did i am madly in love with you)
Once we reached the comic shop we took are usual spot when Anthony walked in, but his time he was alone. He was not accompanied by any of his bothersome friends. Once he noticed us he sent a glare towards Kenny. The shy boy hid behind Theo. "Do you think he can see me?" He asked. I Just laughed at his stupid question.
After a little while of talking a bell on the door rang. A familiar face came walking through, Lia. she was giggling with one of her friends. When Anthony spotted her he got really red and quickly left the building. Then she spotted us and came running over. She took the seat next to Kenny almost pushing Theo out the other end, but he was much to awkward to move." So Kenny, how have you been?" She asked turning all her attention to him. "um.. I've been good" He responded. Soon her friend came rushing over taking the seat next to me. She tossed a comic over to Lia. The girl quickly snatched it up and flipped through the pages swiftly. Once i got a glimpse at the cover I could not help but giggle. She had got an Archery comic, I mean there is nothing wrong with it i just was surprised by the girls choice. Although Lia did not notice my snigger her friend did, and sent me a nasty glare. I just ignored her and looked back over to my friends. Kenny was having a conversation with Lia, that mostly consisted of her asking him questions, and him responding with a nod or 'yes', 'no', 'I don't know'. I was getting bored and i could tell Theo was too, so i kicked his leg under the table trying to get his attention. He looked over and i looked over at the door, he got the idea and said. "We've got to go work on.... some homework" gesturing over to me. "But your welcome to stay." He said looking over at Kenny winking. "Go on without me, I'll see you tomorrow" The boy said with a smile.
(Time skip 2 hours)
Kenny's POV
"Hey do you wanna walk home with me?" Lia askes. "Sure" I said a little to eagerly, i was quite embarrassed but Lia just laughed. We had become quite close over the past two hours. Lia's friend left not long after y/n.
Lia grabbed her bag and stood up, she waited for me to get up before heading towards the door. After a little while of walking we where almost to my house when Lia turned to me and said "You know I always wanted a friend like you" The corners of her mouth twitching upwards. As much as i did not want to believe it y/n was right, she thought i was gay. "Yeah...well this is my stop" I said with a awkward smile on my face. She just nodded and continued down the road.
Once i reached my bed room I flopped down on my bed, and stared at the celling. After only laying there for a few seconds, my phone rang over and over and over again, making my whole bedside table shake. I just ignored it and stared up at the celling covered in water stains from the upstairs neighbors pipe leak. After a few more times of the phone ringing, it finally stopped I laid there in the quiet just thinking about everything that just happened. When suddenly a tall figure opened my door and threw a phone at my head. "They wont stop calling." The guy said closing the door. I rubbed my forehead and looked at the number. It was Theo.
