Liam walked into the building earlier than usual. He had to do this right for Louis. He was sure he could do it right.

He walked in, adjusted his tie, and sat down on his desk, where a bouquet greeted him with its overwhelming smell. A note next to it caught his attention. He picked up the yellow card and read,

"Dear Mr. Payne

I believe you liked the flowers? You once mentioned you loved daisies, so, there you go. Would you like to meet me at 6 pm near Regent Street? I'll be waiting.

ZM."

Oh God. Wait, what? Zayn Malik? Flowers? 6 pm? Regent Street? Did he read right or was it just his imagination? He reread the note. Then looked at the flowers. So, he wasn't imagining things. Zayn really wanted to meet him. Liam could swear he heard a violin playing in the background.

What was he going to do? Send Zayn a text message saying 'yes' or 'no'? Or just go to Regent Street at 6 pm? Did he really want to go, though?

No kidding, Liam had a big massive crush on Zayn. But nobody knew this. Unless... Louis told Zayn? No way, really? Louis would never. But Liam really wanted to go see Zayn. There probably was a reason Zayn wanted to meet him, right? Or was it just work stuff? Wait, didn't Zayn always call the office when he had work-related talks to do? Yeah, Liam was overthinking.

He would just go meet Zayn that evening. It was no biggie anyway, right? Yeah. He was overthinking, that's all.

Liam sat down happily on his chair, not even bothering to hide that big grin plastered on his face. And that was exactly how Louis found him when he entered the office two minutes later.

"Oh, did Mr. Payne finally get laid?" Louis asked, smirking at Liam. He flopped down in front of Liam and eyed the bouquet. "Oooooooh loverboy being gifted flowers, uh huh? Daisies, that too." Louis asked, eyebrow raised.

Liam sighed and handed him the note. Louis read it and squealed, "Holy shit! I knew this would happen. But anyways, invite me to the wedding, will ya?" Liam slapped his hand and said, "You told him, didn't you?"

"No, I didn't. Why would I?" Louis said. Liam began overthinking everything all over again. Louis snapped his fingers in front of Liam's deep-in-thought face, "Rapunzel! Back to the tower, dear. You have a lot of work to do."

Liam rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah, yeah, shut up." Louis got a bit serious and said, "You'll handle today's meeting with him though, won't you?" Liam knew Louis didn't mean 'Zayn' by him. He nodded and assured him he would.

Both of them got back to work, as life rolled on.

"Dandelions remind me of being young," I said, as he tucked one behind my ear.

He smiled and said, "They remind me of you. Because... I love dandelions and I love you." I looked up from his lap and said, "So sappy."

"Only for you." And he giggled. God, he looked so fucking cute, all bundled up with a beanie and sweater. The cold really suited him, because, damn just look at those glowing eyes and red rosy cheeks.

"Promise me," I said, holding his hand. He looked at me curiously. "Promise me, that we'll always stay this way," I said, looking at him in the eye.

He bent down and kissed me softly. I sighed into the kiss and pulled the beanie off his head. I ran my hand through his curls and tugged on them. He moaned, pulled back, and smiled at me.

He said, "I promise."

Louis woke up with a start. No, no, no. No. What the fuck just happened, no. He looked around to find himself asleep on a stack of sheets. Sheets with colours all over them. What the fuck was the time anyway? 11:30 am. Right. So, he had fallen asleep doing work, wonderful.
