The World
Bella deeply breathes in.
Bella is on the edge of the doorway, looking out to the open world. Her toes are on the threshold but she stops before crossing it. Her mind is in a spiral.
What if he gets me? What if I am being watched? What if he can pick me up and steal me away again? - before being interrupted by a hand on her shoulder.
She looks up to see her boyfriend in front of her.
He stands beyond the doorway, free and unafraid. He offers her hand towards her.She takes a deep breath... and lets it out as she grabs onto his hand and crosses the boundary between her house and the world.

Groceries
Looking at two different cereals, Bella put one back on the shelf. She sighed as she moved on to the next item on the list. One thing she definitely did not miss was boring grocery shopping.
Turning to ask Jacob about an item on the list, Bella blinked before realizing her boyfriend was nowhere in sight.
"Jacob? Jacob!" Bella yells, starting to panic.
She looked around desperately but couldn't find him.
"Jacob!" Bella yells again.
Her breath quickened as she roamed her eyes over the top of the aisles. She still couldn't find him!
'In for four, hold for seven, out for four.' She repeated the mantra to herself as she searched for her wayward boyfriend.
'You can do this. He's probably just in another aisle. You can do this.'
Bella strengthened her hold over herself and let out a deep exhale. She remained calm as she wandered through the other aisles, picking up items around the way. She was fully done with the grocery list when she found him in one of the aisles talking to a friend. While she wanted to be annoyed, she couldn't find it in her, looking at his excited face. It was not only her that was stuck in the house, after all.
"Bella!" Jacob exclaims.
Turning around, like a dog waiting for his master after a long day, Jacob greeted her with a smile and ran up to her excitedly.
"Sorry I was talking so long! I haven't seen Cole in a long time. Oh, did you do the groceries without me?" Jacob says with amusement in his voice.
As Jacob apologized, Bella looked in surprise at her full grocery cart. She did the groceries all by herself. No help necessary.

Restaurant
Bella sat with her friends, trying to focus on what they were saying. She couldn't help but pick up on the conversations around them, trying to figure out if one of them would mention... her. Her eyes darted around the room as she memorized the exits. Bella knew that.. he ... was out of town but that didn't stop her anxiety.
"Hey, Bella! Earth to Bella!"
Shaking out her daze, she tried to smile back at her friends. "Yes?"
