I stood frozen staring at the girl staring at me. She was saying something because her lips were moving but I wasn't really listening. She looked so much like Tris. She finally turned around and left but I was still staring. I turned around and ran to the Lab.
"I JUST SAW TRIS!" I blurt when I get there. Matthew looks at me like I'm crazy.
"Tris Prior?" He asks quizzicaly. I want to say something like "duh what other Tris do you know?" But all I can do is nod.
"Okay, Zeke, Tris is dead. You couldn't have seen her. We burned her, you, you watched Tobias spread her ashes on the zipline remember?"
"Matthew is right. I didn't see Tris. I was just seeing things." But she kept asking me if she knew me. And despite having a few injuries and looking a little malnourished, it looked so much like Tris. She had the same insitent eyes and hair. I decide to not share any of this with Tobias and Matthew. I don't want to get their hopes up, or sound like a crazy person.
Author's Note: Hey guys...so i thought i would just add a few author's notes here and there just because. I'm sorry about the short chapter. I thought we could use a little of Zeke's perspective.
