PROMPTs.

Disclaimer: For the life of me I cannot get to sleep. Soon enough my spelling is going to dip, and I might as well make something before it does. At the end of the story, I will link some of my personal favourite Wattpad creators (regarding Jadam since this is kind of what you should be here for) so you can go find someone who is much better of a content creator then I am.

Prompt 1: James and Adam playing on the swings at a small playground that nobody goes to anymore.

O (Platonic)

James stopped in his tracks, alerting Adam. The taller gentleman's eyes had landed on a forsaken playground, dirty and dusty by anyone's standards. As days passed and dust amassed on the equipment, it was to be expected parents drove their children away from this play park under justifiable terms. The dormant days of coming here at every opportunity he had re-kindled within and urged him embrace the sense of such nostalgia. As for Adam who was based in a different state throughout the best half of his childhood, he otherwise couldn't comprehend James' awe-struck eyes, glimmering with glee.

"A playground?" Curiosity cocked Adam's head to one side. Never had Adam seen James look so young. The winsome smile in his eyes forming wrinkles at the sides, all too like that of a child. James is a year older than Adam is hence why Adam has never painted James as one to look and feel so young. Saddled with newly profound happiness, James nodded his head exaggeratedly, in an animated manner.

"Yeah! When I was a kid, I used to go here so often with my siblings!" Adam could get behind that taking the area of the park to consideration. James' slender fingers wrapped around the rusting metal dividing the child's playground from the oncoming traffic. "It's such a shame they just abandoned this place." Breathed he.

When Adam was met with pleading eyes, he knew exactly what his friend was asking of him. "It's really dusty, James." Adam pursed his lips, yet James remained uncaring. Set in stone was his heart going to experience one last drop of nostalgia before refocusing. "My god, Jameson- "

"-Come on! I'll be fun!" Adam regarded the park sceptically. Despite not running any risks Adam was not completely fond of the idea of sitting among dust bunnies. James' gleaming eyes never failed to persuade Adam to cave into his wishes.

"Alright, fine." Adam's hands retreated into his pockets as James strolled to the front gate. Clattering and clanking against the fence indicated just how run down this place was, yet alas, the door opened, albeit creakily.

James pulled his hoodie's sleeve up over his arm as he brushed the dust from the swing set. Plopping down on it he waved Adam over and kicked his feet off the ground. Wind was unfortunately not on his side in this eleven-degree weather, so he used his legs to take flight. Just the two of them in this playground, it was as though it was just the two of them on the face of the planet. Adam walked over and brushed the dust away before perching down on the swing.

Adam mindlessly swung back and forth in place; his feet rooted to the ground. On the other hand, James was two or three feet in the air. Natural sunlight looked good on James, thought Adam. For certain, his pale skin looked ghostly under the sunlight, although his dirty blonde locks bounced off the light astounded him. Adam seemed to outwardly break his focus and kick his feet of the ground, feeling the air on his face as speed accumulated.

Beaming as bright as sun rays alike, James tossed his head in the direction of the younger male, "See! Fun!" To rub in his previous accusation, a sarcastic tone laced his high voice. "This is why you gotta trust me more, man!"

A cocky retort died in Adam's throat. Instead, he smiled back. "Yeah, you're right. This is fun."

Prompt 2: James pressing their forehead against Adam's forehead to check if they have a fever.
