Ello~ my name is Kara Acharya, the daughter of Aiden Acharya and Aru Shah.

Sooo I didn't really want this diary but Aunt Mini gave it to me for my birthday and I didn't want to disappoint her so I'm writing in this.
Also I'm bored. Don't judge.

So I guess I have to write about my day don't I ?

So it was a pretty normal day at school ( I go to this stupid school called Augustus Day it's where my parents went to apparently) their is this girl in my class named Tiffany Burton  who I think is supposed to be the daughter of  mom's old enemy but idk...

My brother Suyodhana (his name is really hard to write) was being a jerk as usual wearing his shirt buttoned down exposing the extent of his training which is just ewwww

Oh also we have powers. You see Mom is the daughter of the sky god Indra and ummm dad is her wifey? Yeah it's weird ok. Just read the books someone made about my mom.

N e ways... My brother Suyodhana has smolder power inherited from my dad which automatically gets him about atleast 4 girlfriends a month... again ewwww

I have power inherited from my mom which allows me to manipulate lighting and kinda give electric shocks to my brother when he's being gross...

Ok back to my day, I came back home and was watching this movie on Disney+ called Encanto which was supposed to be a famous movie when my parents were young

My brother Suyodhana came back home after that and immediately picked up a math book.
Gods what a nerd, inspite of being a flirty freak he's still so unbelievably smart unlike moi who desperately wants to yeet my math textbook into the sea where the talking fish will use it as their blanket for movie night.

*sigh* while I was halfway through the movie my cousin Rohan Kapoor came out through the back door and said

"I'M BACK BITCHES!"

"hey no swearing!" I said mostly jealous because dad never let me swear

He just ignored me and fist punched Suyodhana and they started having their "bro moments" or whatever that's called.

Then my two cousins/besties for lifeee  Laila Kapoor and Isha Rao came over and we spent the whole afternoon scrolling Pinterest and debating about the latest Percy Jackson book

But as they were about to leave Isha showed me something really strange

"My moms were looking at this a while back before I decided to crash at your place. I think you should look at the back" She said and left

The photo had my mom, dad, and all my aunts and uncle and another girl?

I flipped to the back and it said

It was strange so I confronted mom and dad at night and said.

" Alrighty, I don't know what you hobbitses are planning but I know it's something fishy so who in the name of Mordor is this!?" I said waving the picture infront of their noses

Okayyyy so long story short I'm named after mom's sister who died fighting in this major battle after being betrayed by my grandfather
(Talk about family drama!)

So anyway I have to go now because Suyodhana is home rn and if he sees me writing in this diary he's never gonna let me hear the end of it
