I just woke up, and my head is pounding. That whole bottle of wine didn't do me very good last night. I looked around and saw my clothes sprawled out on the floor. Then I looked at Donnie, who was looking at me.
"Did we— Last night... Did—?" I was flustered, and I could tell he was too. He nodded his head yes, his face was bright red. That was the first time Donnie and I had done anything... extraordinary.
I tried to move but my thighs hurt so bad, I just laid back down next to him. He wrapped his arm around my waist, and with his free hand tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. He gave me soft kiss on the forehead.
"Y/N, last night was irrefutably one of the most enchanting nights of my life." I looked at him, then I looked at my hand. The beautiful diamonds sparkle in the dim purple lights that surrounded Donnie's room. I smiled, thinking of spending forever with him.
"Yeah, it really was." I smiled, and rubbed my nose on his snoot. He chuckled, and kissed me again.
"GOOD MORNINGGG" Mikey burst through the door, carrying a tray of breakfast for us. "Awe, Mikey, you didn't have to—" I was interrupted by Mikey's finger on my lips.
"Shush! You two deserve it. You're going to officially be my sis-in-law, anyway!" He and I had always joked with other, calling each other sis-in-law and bro-in-law.
"Thank you, Michael. You've been such a good help these past couple days. You're an awesome little bro, Mike." Donnie said, making Mikey blush, as he had never received a compliment from his second eldest brother.
"Awe shucks, D.."
"Hah, Mikey you're truly the best." I giggled, patting him on the head.
"Hey! What about us, Princess?" Leo and Raph come into the room. Leo's flirty personality ticked off Donnie, as I looked at him and his smile fell.
"I still can't believe you two are getting married. I mean, we're gonna have a sister-in-law. That's crazy to me." Raph said, nudging Leo with his elbow.
"Right. I'm happy for you guys. Anywhizzle.. enjoy your breakfast, lovebirds!" Leo said as he and the others walked out.
Mikey stayed for a while, talking about how many ideas he had come up with and how he stayed up all night writing them down.
"I thought I told you not to stay up all night?" He froze, and his smile fell. He looked at me, and his smile returned. "You did.. but I couldn't help it! I was too excited!" I smiled and scoffed.
"Yes, yes, Michael you did good. Can you leave us to eat now?" Donnie said in a different tone, and I could tell he was frustrated.
Leo peeked his head through the curtain. "C'mon Mike, leave them alone!" Leo said. "Okay, I'm coming." Mikey held down his head, and turned around and smiled, waving at us. I waved back, and Donnie just rolled his eyes.
Mikey left the room, and I sat up and looked at Donnie. "What's the matter, D?" He sat up and turned away, dangling his feet off the bed. He tied his mask on and put his tech goggles on his head.
I saw the scars on his shell. I hated seeing those, as it reminds me of his trauma with the shredder. He sighed, and a look of despondency fell upon his face.
