After the wedding, everyone was so excited about the baby. Me and Donnie were nervous as hell, but ecstatic.

After about 6 months, I had gone to work to sneak and take my own ultrasound. I was an ultrasound tech, after all. I just wanted to see how my baby was doing, without anyone knowing in case it was a half-turtle baby. I also wanted to know the gender so I could have a gender-reveal baby shower.

My baby was definitely a turtle. I'm not sure how to determine the gender of a baby turtle so I called Raph to come and take a look.

"Hey, Raph-a-roni! I hate to interrupt you from training." I said as he shut the door behind him.

"Of course, Y/N! " He said, "What do you need?" He added.

"I need you to determine the gender of our baby. I don't know how to tell apart female and male turtles, after all.. i would've called Donnie, but I want it to be a surprise to us both." I said with a smile, and his eyes lit up with excitement.

"Jumpin' Jack Flash! You want me to help?" He said excitedly. "Mhm, and I need your help to see their gender."

"Absolutely! Lemme see." He said confidently. He looked at the screen, studying it for a moment. Suddenly, his eyes widened with sparkles shining, and his smile grew.

"How many are there?" I asked nervously.

"Just one. They look to be very healthy, too." He said assuringly.

"That's great! Thank you so much, Raph." I said, hugging him gently. "Anytime, Y/N!" He said.

I called Donnie and told him about the baby being healthy, and about Raph only knowing the gender. I explained to him that I wanted to have a gender reveal baby shower, and he was more than willing to comply.

Later on....

"So... will you help?" I asked.

"OH. MI. GOSH. YESSSS! Girl you don't even have to ask me!" Mikey said excitedly. I giggled at his excitement, and so did Donnie.

"You're the artist out of the group, Mike. It'd be an honor to have your expertise." Donnie said. "He's right, Mike." I said with a soft smile. Mikey blushed at that comment.

"Since Raph won't tell me the gender, we can do both pink and blue color schemes. Unless you have something else in mind?" Mikey said.

"I was thinking about doing purple for a girl, and green for a boy. That color scheme has always been in our life, and we want to put that into our baby's life as well." I explained, looking up at Donnie.

"Fair enough!" He replied.

The three of us sat around and talked about ideas for hours. Eventually the sun went down, and I was starting to get tired. I was 6 months pregnant, anyway. My energy drained quickly, even though I don't sleep very long.

I gestured to Donnie for us go to bed, and he took the hint. "Alright, Mike. We're gonna go off to bed." Donnie said. "Okay! I'll just keep brainstorming and bring you what I've got in the morning. G'night!"

Donnie and I walked to his room, and I changed into comfy clothes. As I was taking my hair out of its messy bun, I felt hands wrap around my belly. Donnie nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, leaving gentle kisses, causing me to giggle a little.

"Since we don't know the gender, but we do know the quantity, I think we should decide on names. We've been talking about it, and I believe we need to decide." He purred. "I've been thinking about that. How about Karai, for a girl. After your gramgram?" I asked timidly, "and Kojiro for a boy?"  He looked at me with his brows furrowed. "As nice as that sounds, I don't really like the name Karai, but I do like Kojiro."

He moved his hands from my belly to my waist, swaying back and forth, his head still nuzzled in my neck. "So, we've agreed on a boy's name. How about Kohana? Call her Hana?" He asked. I thought about it for a second, but shook my head lightly.

We pondered in silence, and I reached my arms up backwards to play with the tails of his mask. Then the perfect name hit me, and I twirled in his arms to meet my nose with his. "Venus." I said. His eyes narrowed, almost unsure. Then he smirked and kissed my lips softly. "It's perfect." He said.

I yawned widely, and my eyes grew heavy. I glanced at the clock; 12:21am. Donnie chortled at my sleepy trance, taking my hand and guiding me to the bed. He pulled the sheets back and helped me climb in. He climbed in himself, snuggling me carefully from behind. "Goodnight, Il mio dolce fiore d'angelo." He said, kissing my temple gently. "Goodnight." I replied.

Next day....

Mikey had all of the details for the baby shower planned, and Donnie and I were in love. All that was left was for me and Donnie to pick the games.

It wasn't hard, because we just chose the classic ones. Everyone was coming over today, so we decided on sooner than never. We all helped Mikey set everything up, and I was in tears once I saw the finished result.

"Mikey, you're awesome at this kind'a stuff!" Raph said. "I have to agree, suga. You're amazing." Gwen cooed, kissing him on the cheek gently. "I agree 100%. You did a splendid job, Michael." Donnie said.

"Hey guys! I brought lemonade!" Todd said as he entered the lair.

"Hey, Todd! Damn, I love your lemonade, man." Leo said.

"Awe, stop it!" He said.

"Hey, what's up, guys!" Casey said as she came in after Todd.

Everyone has already arrived, so I started off with the first game. "Here. You each get a pink or blue pin, depending on what gender you're voting for. Mom and dad aren't allowed to play as we already know the gender. If someone says the word baby, you get to take their pin and keep it. Whoever has the most pins, gets a prize at the end." I explained.

Everyone was dressed in either purple or green, to show what gender they were predicting. Raph was team girl, Mikey was team girl, April was team boy, Splinter was team girl, Draxum was team boy, Gwen was for a girl, Leo was for a boy, Miwa was for a boy, Casey was for a boy, and Todd was for a girl.

We ate, talked, laughed, and Leo basically stole everyone's pins by tricking them into saying baby. After partying for some time, it was time to get serious.

"Okay, guys! I can sense the anticipation in the room. It's time." I said, unable to contain my excitement. "Is everyone ready?" I added.

"Shelldon! Do it!" Donnie yelled. Shelldon then did as he was told, turning off all of the lights in the lair, making my skin glow purple. (Donnie had given Raph a lotion with two different ingredients, for him to add into the mixture to reveal the color.)

Everyone cheered and laughed, while Donnie and I cried into each other's arms overjoyed. "Venus." I whispered to him, and he mouthed the word back to me. We kissed each other, and turned to the others.

"We've thought about names last night, and we've decided to share it with you!" Donnie said. We looked at each other, then at the crowd before us, anticipating further words to leave one of our mouths."Venus!" I squealed, jumping in joy.

"I LOVE IIIIITTTTT!" Mikey shouted.

"That's a cute name!" Raph said.

"Aww, Baby Venus!" Gwen cooed.

Everyone was gushing over the baby's name, and so were me and Don. Our beautiful Venus. Our precious rainbow baby. We love you, dearly. Mommy and Daddy are so very excited to meet you, V.
