The Big Day

Today is the day. I'm about to become a Hamato, and I've never been so nervous in my life. My parents had never met Donnie or anyone in his family.. I hope they don't freak out.

I was in the hotel getting ready with the help of Gwen, April and Miwa. We were about to get started on my hair, until someone knocked on the door.

"Oh, baby! Look at you! You're so beautiful!" My mom said.

"Mom! You made it!" I said as I ran to her for her a hug.

"Your father would be so proud." She said as she returned the hug.

"Thanks, mom. I really miss him." I said.

"I know you do. Come, let's get your hair fixed!" She said. "Oh, who are these beautiful young ladies?" She added.

"Remember how I said Donnie had three brothers? Well, these are their girlfriends, Gwen, April, and Miwa." I said as I gestured to each of them.

"Nice to meet you, girls! I can't wait to meet Donnie. I bet he's so handsome!" She said as she started to curl my hair.

Me and April shot each other a look. She had no idea what she was about witness.

"So, m/n, you've really never met Donnie or his family? Even though they've been together for 13 years, now?" Gwen asked.

"I haven't, no. I only found out about him when she moved out, but still she never introduced us." Mom said.

"Well, you'll meet them all today. But you have to promise me, that you won't judge... or panic." I said nervously.

"Why would I panic?" She asked.

"You'll find out soon." I replied.

We were almost done with my hair, so Gwen started on my makeup. She was a professional makeup artist, so it only made sense that she would do it for my wedding.

"Why did you decide to have the wedding all the way in Japan?" My mom asked after a moment of silence.

"That was the only request Donnie's dad had for the wedding. He's Japanese, so I decided to respect his wishes." I said.

"Oh, that's very nice! What's his dad's name?" She asked.

"His name is Hamato Yoshi, but you might know him as Lou Jitsu." I said.

"His father is Lou Jitsu?!" She asked surprised.

"Yeah, he is. Believe it or not, but he never went missing. Something just... happened to him." I said.

"All done! Take a look!" Gwen said she held up a mirror to show my hair and face. My h/l h/c hair was all curled up and pinned back in little white rose clips. My eyes were painted with the lightest shade of purple, to match my dress.

"Oh my gosh— Guys!" I said trying to fight back tears. "You look beautiful, Y/N! Donnie's a lucky turtle." April said.

"Turtle?" My mom asked.

Oh boy.

POV: DONNIE

"MIKEY! WHERE'S MY SUIT?!" I yelled impatiently. "I don't know, D! Calm down!" Mikey said as he waved his hands back and forth trying to calm me down.

"Donnie, chill out, dude. It's gonna be fine!" Leo said reassuringly. "Here it is, Don!" Raph said, coming out of the laundry room.
