(Y/N)'s POV: It feels like time is slowing down while I think on what to do. I won't let someone else get hurt by a demon. I can't and I won't let it happen.
Muichiro-Kun didn't here me call for him to look out so he wasn't moving out of the way. Before I can even think too much I decide the best I can do is use the first form. It's slightly risky with how close the demon is to Muichiro-Kun but I have to do something.
"Thunder Breathing. First form. Thunder Clap and Flash!" I jolt forward to cut the demon's head and with one flash I decapitate one of the two demons.
I immediately turn around and look at him. "Are you ok?!" I ask as I run back over to help with the last demon. He nods. We continue fighting until Muichiro-kun suddenly gets his sword on the demon's neck.
He starts to cut the neck but the demon grabs his arm stopping the motion. With a swift motion I cut the arm off allowing Muichiro-Kun to cut the head completely. When the demon falls and starts to burn away I slump to the ground. "Finally..." I mutter to myself. I lift my head and look at Muichiro-kun.
"I'm gonna go get the two children and bring them back to their parents. I'll be back" he nods and I leave. I go to the homes I left them, first I get the younger one, I head to get the older child.
After collecting both the children I go back ti the house. When the house comes into view I see Muichiro-Kun talking to the mother and father of the children, as soon as they see their parents they run up to them. "Mama! Papa!" They'd yell as they run.
I stood still. Something felt.. off. Like something was staring at me. There was no sent of demons. I look around trying to pick up the scent if whatever was watching until my eyes land on a branch in a tree. Akemi. My eyes go wider, "Another mission already? Or is he just coming to see me?" I sigh, walking over to check on the parents wounds and how they are doing, after they say they are fine I look back to the tree I saw Akemi in.
"That's weird.." I mutter. Akemi wasn't in the tree anymore, if there was a mission he would have come over by now. Before I know it Muichiro-kun is beside me and speaks up. "Is something the matter (Y/N)-san?" I look over to Muichiro-kun
"Oh, it's nothing, I just thought I saw Akemi.. he usually comes after missions to see me, or tell me I have another already. And I thought I saw him in a tree.. now I can't find him." Muichiro-kun nods as he listens, when I finish talking he speaks up.
"Is that him there?" He says, he was pointing behind my shoulder and with a confused look, I look over my shoulder, and there he was, the weird crow I know and for some reason love.
"Akemi you stupid crow I thought you were being mysterious" Akemi ignores me and goes onto my shoulder before starting to poke his head inside my haori, he was looking for something.
