(Y/N)'s POV:
It's been another week, I'm aloud on bigger missions now, I've actually been assigned a new mission with Tanjiro, his friends, and Kyojuro.
Tanjiro and his friends had finished their training and rehabilitation after the fight with the spider demon family on that mountain.
Early this morning Akemi came to my window and woke me up. He said: "It is now morning, wake up!" I have to say it was pretty effective to shout it. He then told me about the mission. "The casualties of the Mugen Train are increasing, more than 40 are now missing you are to join Kyojuro Rengoku, Tanjiro Kamado, Inoske Hashibara, and Zenitsu Agatsuma on site. Head west at once!"
Muichiro hadn't been assigned this mission originally, right before I was about to head out with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inoske, Tomioka was there, Tanjiro went to talk to him while Zenitsu was pratically strangling Inoske because he was eating the food that Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho made for us.
I was standing with Tanjiro, he had just finished his conversation with Tomioka and had gone back over to Zenitsu and Inoske. I spoke up before Tomioka left. "Tomioka, just so you know, Shinobu was wrong, I like you, you're a great friend." I said quickly, it was out of the blue but I wanted to make sure that Shinobu's words from on the mountain weren't getting to him. He nodded with a soft smile and I went to return with the group.
Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho then say their farewells and we start to head out, suddenly I heard a familiar voice call out to me, it was Muichiro I turned to face him and he got closer, the others were going ahead
"Hey, Muichiro, is everything ok?" I ask
"Yeah, it's just that I was wondering if I could head out with you" he replies
"What? But I don't remember you being on this mission? I thought the only hashira were Kyojuro and I?" I probably had a confused tone in my voice voice because he nodded
"Well, probably that was it, but I've been assigned to go as well now" he claims
"Ohh! Ok then! Yeah, come along with us!" And with that we both go and catch up with the others.
...
"Hey.. WAIT A DAMN MINUTE. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CREATURE" Inoske shouted, looking at a giant monster like thing
"Wait, could it be.. I've heard about such a being! The master ruler of this land! It's such an intimidating size! There's no mistaking it! It looks like it's asleep, but don't let that fool you!" He shouts again
"No, it's a train. You've never seen one?" Zenitsu says, Inoske then slaps his hand in the centre of Zenitsu's face "quiet down or you'll wake it! I'll lead the charge to take it down!"
"Inoske stop!" Tanjiro says, "This might be the guardian spirit of this land, so we shouldn't be attacking it carelessly."
"Uh I said it's a train, you've never seen one either? A vehicle for transportation? Man you're sheltered.." Zenitsu says to Tanjiro
"I think you're both wrong, I think it could be a demon in disguise, I'm not gonna let my guard down." I say
"What?! You too?! It's a train!" Zenitsu yells
"A train? That's what the crow was talking about?" Tanjiro says, Inoske then moves to go in front of all of us. "What is he doing?" Zenitsu asks with a nervous tone in his voice. Suddenly Inoske screams "Ready or not I'm coming through!" He yells as he goes to head-butt the train
"Stop embarrassing us!!" Zenitsu yells at him. Suddenly we hear whistles, it's the workers running at us.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing!" Zenitsu shrieks, Tanjiro and I go wide eyed, and Inoske is still facing the train. The entire time Muichiro was just watching us. "Look these 5 have swords!" One says, "The police! Call the police!" The other shouts.
"NOT GOOD! NOT GOOD! NOT GOOD!!! RUN FOR IT!" Zenitsu yells, grabbing onto Tanjiro and Inoske and booking it, I grab Muichiro by the sleeve and book it after them. "Come on Muichiro we have to go!" I poorly explain as he seems confused.
We finally found a spot to hide and Zenitsu starts going off on Inoske . "We went through hell cause of you Inoske! Say you're sorry!" Zenitsu yells at Inoske.
"Oh yeah?! Explain to me why we had to run from those guys in the first place!" Inoske says back
"Cause demon slayers aren't officially recognized by the government! So we can't just have our swords out in public like that, if we told them about the demons, it's not like they would believe us anyway you know?" Zenitsu reasons
"But we're trying hard to help everyone." Tanjiro says
"That's the way things go. For now, let's hide our swords away" I say, Inoske starts laughing weirdly, he shoved his swords into the back of his pants to hide them, but you can still see both.
"We can see them.. put something on!" Zenitsu yells at him
I decided to tuck my sword into my haori, you could see it if you look hard enough but it wasn't obvious. Suddenly the train makes a loud noise.
"Oh no! The trains leaving! Are the police still around?!" Zenitsu wonders out loud
"We have to go either way!" Tanjiro says
"HAAAH! HERE I COME MASTER OF THE LAND!" Inoske yells as he runs out toward the train
"What are you doing!" Zenitsu screams
"We should go too!" Tanjiro says as he runs after Inoske, Zenitsu then goes, I look at Muichiro and he nods, we both start running too.
"Hey! You 5!" Someone yells as we all jump onto the back of the train, we'll, except for Zenitsu, he was running on the tracks trying to get on, Tanjiro and I grab his arms and help him up when he grabs onto the train.
"Woo hoo! This thing's fast!" Inoske yells.
"Hey, Tanjiro.. you sure about being Nezuko along? Wouldn't the safest place for her be back at headquarters?" Zenitsu asks
Tanjiro smiles, "this is fine. Wherever we go, we will always be together." Tanjiro then looks at you. "And (Y/N) will be with us too, we'll all be together. I won't let anything change that. We'll all never be apart again." He says. I smile at him.
And with that, we were off.
