Wang YiBo got his long-awaited new helmet! He was excited to try it on so he drove around the city. Riding motorcycles is one of his hobbies that he especially allots time.

He was in a good mood when he arrived at his café bar, Green Stone. He even had conversations with the doctor he had been ignoring for months.

Talking to the doctor has always been nice, and his resolve to not cross the line has remained as strong as ever. So Wang YiBo thought about it—maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have a bit more of their usual conversations. If it resulted in some kind of unwanted tension, he could just ignore the doctor again.

Right now, he had honestly been missing it.

Dr. Xiao had been drinking more than he regularly has. It seemed the Green Stone owner's good mood was so contagious that it also affected the doctor. He was giddy as he chugged glass after glass. But this just meant that the café bar owner would have to take care of a wasted doctor again.

After hours of drinking and barely stopping, Dr. Xiao's face and neck were in the shade of crimson red. He rested his head on his arm and after a few seconds of silence, there you have it—a passed out doctor.

Looking blankly at the doctor, Wang YiBo, "..."

"Lao Wang..." Dr. Xiao spoke.

Wang YiBo was a little surprised. He thought that Dr. Xiao was already knocked out.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I like you..."

Dr. Xiao was definitely drunk. His eyes were closed and his voice slurs whenever he spoke. It was all just drunk talk and Wang YiBo should never believe it.

Yet, this stupid heart of his kept on disobeying him.

Wang YiBo internally sighed. All those months of building his resolve had been crumbled by a simple 'I like you' from someone who was certainly not faithful.

Dr. Xiao, "You were... better tonight... You were talking more..."

"But... I don't know why but... it still felt like you were still a bit distant..."

'Of course I'd be. I'm getting hit on by a married man.' Wang YiBo replied in his head.

But if he could say so, it was the drunk doctor who was a bit odd tonight. Because by this time, Dr. Xiao should be talking nonstop about his daughter or complementing just anyone as those are his drunk habits.

Wang YiBo had a sudden surmise. Could it be...

"Dr. Xiao."

"Hm?"

"How old are you?"

"30..."

"When did you have your daughter?"

"18..."

"Job occupation?"

"Family doctor..."

"Why did you become one?"

"Because... it's my dream... to help people..."

Wang YiBo was just asking whatever came to his mind. He just wanted to confirm his speculation, and this behavior of the doctor had more or less convinced him that Dr. Xiao Zhan neither compliments people nor talks about his daughter when he gets drunk, but perhaps, he instead becomes a spilling-truth-babbling machine.

Wang YiBo looked left and right. Seeing that there were no people close enough to hear, he took a risk and asked the question he'd been wanting to ask, "Do you love your wife?"
