Criminal Investigation Special Unit (CISU)
CISU is one of the two branches of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Beijing. The Main Branch is located in Dongcheng District while CISU is located in Shijingshan District. Although CISU is considered as a branch, most cases are still being handled by the Main Branch. CISU is just small but it isn't because of its size that it doesn't handle as many cases as the Main Branch and it also doesn't mean that the number of cases in their branch is also small. What makes the 'SU' in CISU is because it's independent and has the liberty to be selective as they deliberate despite still being under a law enforcement government. Unlike the Main Branch that has divisions in which each of them specializes in a particular type of crime, the members of CISU all team up in every case and each has their own fair share of contribution and even though the types of crime they handle may not be as many as the Main Branch, it is broad for their size and even that being so, it has never affected the quality of their results.
Inside Wang YiBo's office were mountains of files that were neatly piled up all over the place. Though with just one misstep, everything could turn into a literal disaster of paper landslide. On his desk were a few more piles and a nameplate that was engraved with 'Detective Wang YiBo'. Under it was of a smaller font size but in capital letters: 'Captain of Criminal Investigation Special Unit'.
Wang YiBo was seated at his desk, his back leaning on his chair as he skimmed the files in his hands that he just finished reading. His expression was dour.
