Me: Welcome back everyone!

Thunder: Yeah!

Shard: *Grumbles* I don't like this chapter...

Thunder: Don't worry Shard. *Pats her back*

Me: Let's get on with the story!

Shard: If this came out a bit late, then it's because Shadow is lazy.

Me: -.-

Shard: *Snickers*

Thunder: ...Shadow doesn't own Pokémon.

Thunder's POV

As I darted through the vegetation, along the slick and soaked grass, I decided to head to Hunter's tree to ask him where Ruby's clan was. As I tried not to slip from the dew-covered terrain, I started to wonder if I was doing the right thing. It was possible that after I hung out with Ruby then I'd find out she was one of those creepy stalker girls. I did not want to be stalked. On another note, I had no idea what we would do together, or how it'd be like. Would it be the same and be fun naturally like with Shard, or be some awkward and crazy thing? It could be possible that she'd think it was some sort of date. That luxray didn't appear to be the smart type of Pokémon.

In the midst of my thoughts, I noticed that Hunter's graffiti-styled tree had come into view. I picked up my speed till I arrived at the base of the tree, ready to call out the raichu's name, but I hesitated. Is this a good idea? I nervously thought. How would today turn out?

After I came up with my reluctant answer, I stared at the large hole in the deciduous tree trunk. "Hunter!" I called out. Almost instantly after, an orange head popped out of the tree hollow, as if he was expecting me. He returned my stare with his pointy brown ears pricked up excitedly.

"Well Thunder, my new bro!" he greeted slyly, resting his elbow on the rim of the hollow. "You're here to ask where Ruby's at, right?"

I blinked in surprise and cocked my head on the side. "How'd you know?"

"You said you'd head over there. You foolishly came over and woke me up while rain was pelting down hard. I doubted you knew where it is, so I assumed you'd come back, I guess," he answered dully.

"So where is it?"

He moved his perched elbow and pointed in a northern direction. "Head north. You should see a group of dens soon, and it's common to see luxray in the tall grass because they're guarding their territory." I gulped at the last part, hoping they wouldn't mistake me for an enemy.

"It's the Luxray Territory, right?" I asked.

"Yep. Well, see ya." He stopped leaning on the rim and prepared to walk into the tree's depths.

"Thanks Hunter," I thanked, stopping him from disappearing inside the wood, and he turned to look down at me again.

"Hey, no sweat. Well while you're still here, can you hang tomorrow?"

"Sorry, Shard and I have plans."

My words puzzlingly brought a dim smile to his face. "That glaceon girl, ah, I remember her. I think Fang is right with you guys being Latios and Latias, giving the time you've been spending together."

The words caused a dark tint of pink to blare onto my face. "No we're not!" I argued. I mentally cursed at myself for sounding like a lying cub.

My unconvincing words caused him to snicker. "Sure you're not," he chuckled sarcastically. I resisted an urge to bare my teeth and lunge up the tree. "Forgetting that, don't you think that hanging out with both Shard and Ruby isn't such a good idea? Ruby is totally into you by the way you described it." The pink shade on my face started to lighten, but didn't go away completely.
