I loved reading and one if the reasons that is, is because it helps you escape from any problems you have in life.

As I read my book my eyes kept traveling to look at my sister, who had started a strick 5 o'clock routine.

She thought no one knew, that she was sneaky.

But I'm not everyone, and I see everything as I've said before.

"why are you up so early?" I closed my book but keeping my finger on the page I'm on.

"is it a crime to want to get up early to put an extra bit of effort into myself?" cassie said turning to look at me.

I raised my eyebrow at her.

"but like you never normally get up at this time so theirs a reason behind it right?"

We used to be close, used to talk about everything.

But now...

"mind your own fucking business Lex" she snaps walking into the bathroom and shutting the door with a slam.

I rolled my eyes but after that could not get back into my book.

That and because I've been reading the same paragraph for the last hour, my mind was somewhere else.

On someone else.

It was Friday today and to say I was pleased was an understatement, this week was just full of gossip and drama.

Not to mention a certain handsome ginger has invaded my brain, I could not get his eyes out of my head and I've barely spoke to him.

I made it my mission to go to the shop everyday, whether it was before school or after. However his only been there twice out of the five times I've been there.

After a few more hours I got ready, looking at myself in the mirror, tilting my head slightly.

Why could I not look like cassie or maddy?

I huff before walking out and walking down the stairs, I saw my mum passed out still holding her glass of wine.

I walk over and take it from her hand, placing it on the table before pulling the cover over her some more before kissing her on the head and leaving.

I was not about to wake her up to tell her I was leaving and I'm most definitely not telling cassie.

School flew by so fast and before I knew it L, it was the end of the day.

"hey you going to the party tonight?" Kay voice rang out as I got closer to the group of girls.

"obviously bitch, it's not a party unless I'm there" maddy cheered out, I found a smile taking over my features, this girl was so pure.

I looked at my sister standing next to maddy, she would watch maddy before now and then coping what ever she did.

But what really caught her attention is when nate walked past, maddy turned her head to look at him and so did cassie.

Difference is after maddy looked away, cassie did not.

"what about you Lex, you coming?" maddys voice rang out infront of me, that was when I notice her jump infront of me and hug me.

I put on my best fake smile, acting like I saw nothing. Something I'm very used to.

"where is it?"

"at some guys house, it's a new years party, you can come with us" maddy smiled holding onto my hand.
