We stare at each other as another crash came from the living room.
"what is that?" Lex asked but I said nothing and kept listening.
Lexi's eyes widen like she had just had a thought.
"has someone broke into the house?"
That question alone had me standing up straight, I walk towards my bed stand pulling out my gun.
My eyes connect with Lexi's who watches my every move "if it is someone Lex, they have one two and I'm not being the dumb arse to take on a intruder without mine" I tell her as I walk toward the door.
I know she hates guns, I can see the fear in her eyes, I try and give her a reasurring look as I slowly open the door.
"stay there, I'll be back" I whisper/ yell and step out.

I really am sorry lex-" then my hand slips past her hips, gently brushed against her arse slightly before i grabbed the back of her legs and lifted her up.
