Silas's hand on my arm was a bit comforting as he brought me to Ronan's office through his big warehouse. Silas pretended he had forced me to come as he practically dragged me out of the car in front of some bodyguards. I held a pissed-off look as I walked. Ronan was standing in front of the door to his office with a smile. I glared and tugged away from Silas. I turn to him. "Keep your damn hands off of me. I know how to walk," I fired. He rolls his eyes.

"Could have fooled me," I glare at him.

"Hello, darling," Ronan said. I look at him.

"Don't call me that. You have no right to have Silas kidnap me and drag me here." He smirks as he turns around and walks into his office.

"We don't have to pretend that Silas actually kidnapped you. You trust him too much and he loves you. We all know he wouldn't put you in harm's way," He said sitting down in his chair while looking at us. I drop my shoulders and sigh.

"What do you want?" I asked sitting down in the chair in front of him. He smirks.

"This is exactly why I am having Silas watch over you. Because he puts your needs above his own. Which is why I know he would never tell me if you were actually pregnant." I was shocked. How did he know?

"Pregnant?" I asked. He leans back in his seat watching me.

"Are you pregnant with Ryder's child?" I let out a heavy laugh.

"You think the child is Ryder's?" I asked. He looked surprised. I dialed down my laughter to play it off and smile. "You are just as stupid as I thought you were," He hums.

"You know how I know the child is his? Because if it weren't it wouldn't be alive," I smile.

"It would if he didn't know it wasn't his," He sits forward.

"Okay, I'll play pretend. Whose child is it supposed to be?" I hum as I look down at my hands.

"Well, it could be Zeke's but I doubt it. Or there was that one time with Silas." I said looking back up at him. He was completely shocked.

"You and Silas?" I stand up and lean on his desk.

"You are so damn stupid. You think that you can go kill off 300 people and everyone will be afraid of you. Well here is a shocker to you. Not everyone is afraid. They are pissed there is a big difference. They haven't touched you yet because you had nothing that they could use against you. Until you had me. They say that your children are supposed to be your weakness but it turns out just one of your child mean something to you. It surprises me that you could even love something." He stands up and leans on his desk.

"Everything I've done has been for you," I throw my arms up in the air.

"I never asked you to kill 300 innocent people. Over 100 children died in that fire," His face goes blank as if he has no remorse or care. My face falls as I look into his eyes. They were completely soulless. "What made you like this? Why are you so soulless?" He looks at the table.

"You never thought to ask me that before you started to hate me. Why does it matter?" His eyes go back to mine and hurt was in his eyes as if he had just relieved a painful memory.

"What does Ryder's mother have to do with this?" He looks at me confused.

"I never mentioned Viola," I shake my head.

"You didn't have to. She was the only one you tortured. Why?" He lets out a heavy sigh.

"What story did you hear?"

"That you were the town drunk and no one took you seriously. One day some drunk decided to touch me and that was the first time you killed someone. Then you declared war for power," He lets out a dry laugh.
