10- Awkward questions

Today was a fun day with Sol honestly. She even join us on some tik toks after a lot of convincing. She's so shy but I don't mind it. It makes me happy when I get her to get out her comfort zone a little bit.  All day today I started to plan something special. Especially now that I feel more sure after spending all this time with Sol. And I'm hoping it will go well. Since Lena and Sol are having a long conversation about scary movies or something, I get the opportunity to pick up the things I need. I'll sneak out right now, before my local flower shop closes.

Even though I planned this idea, I'm not even sure on where to start or how to do this. I don't want to overwhelm her with too much or in general. What if she's not ready for a date? I mean, it's been almost two days so far that we have met in person. It's not my preference to move this fast but we only have four more days left together. Not counting the fifth day because that's the day she leaves early in the morning. I'm just hoping that she's wanting the same thing that I want, each other. I really like this girl so I won't give up easily!

Sol is in the middle of her true ghost experience story when my phone decides to ring. (Even my sister decided to join into our conversation). We all jumped at the loud ring tone that echoed this silent living room. "Sorry". We laughed and shook it off quickly. I got up from the couch and stepped into the kitchen to answer this call from Lisa. Hold up, yeah, where's Lisa? I was too focused in Sol's story that I didn't even realize Lisa wasn't sitting with us anymore.

"hello?". I answered.

"Lena can you please come to the front door by yourself, I need to tell you something and I need your help".

What is going on? With no doubt I hurried to Sol to let her know that I'll be back. I quickly made my way to Lisa who looked like she was heading out. She put a warm coat on and some boots, even a hat! Where is she going? "Lena, please don't be mad but I need to tell you something. I can't keep this from you". I crossed my arms getting comfortable to listen to what I already know. By the nervous energy she has I can already get an idea now on what she's gonna tell me. "I really really like Sol". Yup, already knew that. "And I want to ask her on a date, tonight. You know, to talk things through with her on how this will work, if she's willing to be with me even with this long distance-". "Wait WHAT? Lisa, are you trying to be her girlfriend?".
This is too much now. How is she sure my Sol will want to date her? She lives so far- oh wait, I am just like Lisa too. Surely distance doesn't seem to matter to the both of us. But will it to Sol?

"Is that bad??". Lisa's eyes started to water a little bit and I'm sure that's because she's not getting my support. And I'm probably making her second guess this kind of crazy idea. I calmed down my voice because now I officially know how Lisa really feels about Sol. I went in to hug her so she can see that she has my support. We are twin sisters, we can't fight like this. We have to support each other.
"Okay, How can I help you Lisa?". Lisa's face brightened at my question.
"I need you to keep Sol busy, I don't want her to know that I'm gone... when I'm back from getting the things that I need, I will text you and I will need to pass through to get back to my room without her seeing me..."

few minutes later

I went back to join Sol who is still sitting on the couch of course. Seems like she was texting with someone, probably family I'm sure. Oh yeah and my sister left. "Where's-" "She went back to her room" she quickly answered me as if she knew what I was going to ask. Well she was correct. I simply nodded kind of awkward as I sat back down on the couch with her.
It's kind of difficult to act normal now after knowing what's going to happen tonight. Maybe now I should take the opportunity to talk with Sol before things change. She can also get the chance to confess to me about Lisa. That would actually be helpful to give Lisa the green light for the date. "Everything okay?". Sol gave a small smile. "Yeah Yeah, Everything's fine...I just wanted to talk to you about earlier today". "okay, of course". How do I even start this conversation? These questions are probably going to be too awkward. I'm taking the risk anyways because then I'll probably never get the answers to my questions.
