Sol

Pushing the door open slowly, it revealed a Lisa holding a bouquet of beautiful flowers. Each different flower is a color from the rainbow! There's even baby's breath making it look even more pretty. But why is she holding these flowers? What are they for?
"Wow, Lisa, these flowers are so beautiful! .. but not as beautiful as you". My cheeks feel warm now and not only because I was being a little cringe . Lisa handed me the bouquet excitedly. These really are for me?
"These beautiful flowers are for a beautiful girl named Sol". Her smile is now from ear to ear and so is mine. "Thank you Lisa, this is so sweet". I could cry right now because these are the most beautiful flowers I've ever been gifted. Like c'mon they are Rainbow! I Literally love rainbows. Also, gay flowers gay flowers.

"What is this for?". I asked while I gave the flowers a sniff. I couldn't resist. They smell wonderful And fresh. "Well...". Seems like she was holding something behind her back. It looks like, a Letter! Okay this is a dream. First rainbow flowers & now a letter?  I lightly took the letter from her shaky hands. What can it be since she's nervous? She watched me shyly waiting for me to open the envelope. It's a hand written letter. Okay that's it, I want to date this girl and give her so many kisses!

[ Dear Sol,

I fell for you instantly. From the first time I saw your pictures on Instagram to the first time that I met you at the airport. I knew there was something special about you by the way you stole my heart so quickly. Even without knowing each other completely I wanted everything to do with you. I want to keep knowing you, learning about who you are and what you love, what makes you angry, what makes you happy, and even what food you like. I just want to keep being around you. I see us together for a long time, even as far as meeting your parents back in California.

Sol, I really like you...

Will you go on a date with me?

And maybe possibly be my girlfriend afterwards? ]

My heart is beating so fast. This letter is just so perfect! Everything she said is exactly how I feel about her. And I thought I was crazy for feeling these things so quickly. My eyes are even crying a little. Lisa has a way with words that just touch my heart. "Lisa, this is so sweet. I just want you to know that I feel the same exact way for you. Maybe a little more though because I've known you longer". We both laughed. Now I'm seeing that her eyes are also watery. I placed the flowers and letter next to me on her desk. I stood in front of her holding either side of her gorgeous face. Few tears streamed down her eyes so I used my thumbs to wipe them off.

"I really like you too Lisa... and I'd really love to go on a date with you". I finally answered the questions from her letter. To answer her last question, I leaned in to kiss her warm soft lips. I don't want to stop kissing these same lips. I kinda want to feel them forever. Her hands grabbed onto to arms lightly squeezing them softly. Our kiss lasted a few more seconds. We both pulled away at the same time and looked at each other with smiles on our faces.

"I could do this forever". I told her. If it's possible, her smile got brighter. She gave me A slight head nod in agreement before kissing my lips quickly. She walked over to her bed where her Polaroid camera was. Oh my, is she going to take a picture? "Lena, take a quick picture of sol and I please". Lena came into the bedroom as if she was already just standing there. Wait, she was. So she knew about this? But she was with me the whole time? Wow so sneaky. "Sure".

I grabbed my flowers and letter then stood next to Lisa. Her left arm wrapped around my back to pull me closer to her. I held the gifts on my left arm and used my right arm to hold her back as well. I honestly don't really like how I come out in photos but Polaroid cameras seem to make me look better sometimes.
"We're gonna take two so you can keep one". Lisa smiled at me then to Lena who is ready to take our shot. I happily posed for the photos.

One hour later

I'm finally ready for Lisa and I's date. I'm very surprised at how I actually did packed well. 'My just in case' items came out to actually be helpful instead of just extra baggage. Since Lisa did warn me we will have dinner together, I wore a simple black sleeveless turtleneck that is not too cropped. And I decided to pair it with some black dress pants because that's all the nicer clothes I brought. And I'm also glad that I did bring my black short heels. I guess it's pretty obvious that I love to wear black. Sadly I have nothing else to add on to this outfit. And it's fine because she did tell me it's nothing too fancy, Thankfully. But I know she's gonna look so beautiful and well dressed.

I'm already feeling under dressed even with my few accessories. Oh shoot, I need to wear a sweater, I can't walk out there sleeveless cause I'm gonna be cold. What am I thinking? This isn't cold California weather where it's only 55 or 60 degrees out in the evenings! I guess I'll just wear one of Lisa's sweaters. It's a puffer kind of jacket in a tan color, almost brown so it'll add color to my outfit. I know it's not the best option but it'll keep me warm. And I don't feel like changing into a warmer outfit. Hope Lisa won't mind I grabbed a sweater from her closet. I finally texted Lisa that I'm ready. Meanwhile I wait for her to reply, I'll spray on some of my perfume. It's a rose smelling one, my favorite. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. Lisa gave me her room to change in while she changed in Lena's which I thought was sweet. It's almost like its our wedding day or something.

My hand reached for the door knob and opened it slowly. Seeing Lisa all dressed up is making this all hit for real now. We are going on a date! My mouth dropped a little bit at how beautiful she looks but I'm trying to stay calm. She's wearing white loose dressy pants with a thick tan color long sleeve turtleneck, and nude heels. She's even wearing red lipstick! Which is a lip color I love on her!

She gave me a twirl and I gave her one too.

"we definitely have to snap some pictures! We look amazing together". She grabbed her phone out of her back pants pocket. "yeah you both look great". Lena gave me a small smile. I think she's still upset about this situation. Honestly I would be too if I were her. But there's nothing I can do. It does hurt me to know that she's hurt. I just don't know how I can help her. "Thank you Lena". I replied. She nodded at me. Lena is just standing at the door frame, leaning on it. It makes me feel a little guilty that she has to watch this. I mean if she doesn't fully like this or if it's too much, she would just leave right?

"Sol, let's take some mirror selfie's". Lisa grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her closet mirrors. I posed with her trying to let myself have fun. After a few snaps I asked Lena to come and join us. I decided to use my phone for these because I want it for memories. Lena's mood seemed to cheer up a little bit afterwards. "Send me these!". She scrolled through the photos on my phone with Lisa over her shoulder. "Yeah me too!". Lisa joined. This is such a beautiful moment right here. Looking at them together, happy, on my phone. It feels as if I've known them for a while, longer than two days definitely! This just feels like home, like they're my family. And it also weirdly feels as if I live down the street.

It's really gonna feel so lonely once I'm back home.
