18- No more Secrets

Sol and I decided to go watch a movie together that just came out recently. She was hesitant at first but I was able convince her. I let Sol choose the movie, That's the only way I could convince her to come to the cinema with me. But I'm glad we did go with the movie that 'we' chose because we got to hold each other close the whole time. I was more scared than her honestly but I tried to be brave for the both of us. I think I shut my eyes for half of the movie so that I don't yell when something scares me. Pretty brave of me I'll say...

"Okay, I know that I didn't want to watch a movie on this beautiful day, but that was actually very fun! I'm glad you decided that we should do this...Thank you" she smiled happily as we walked to my car with our arms locked together. This honestly does feel like a date still. "No problem Sol, I just know how to have fun around here" I confidently told her even though that's not fully the truth. I'm actually kind of boring and rather stay indoors. She giggled at me. Before I can get more words out I got interrupted by a text message. This is when I noticed I had two missed calls from Lisa and some texts. I stopped in my path once we've reached my car. I unlocked the car alarm to let Sol go in first while I called back Lisa.

"Lisa, sorry, I was in the cinema"  I explained worriedly. I'm a little nervous talking with her especially since her text messages didn't seem too positive. "Did you see my texts.. And the photos online?" She questioned me with slight attitude. "N-no I haven't been on my phone...why?". I responded confusedly. This is when I looked over at Sol in the car who is looking at her phone in a shocked way. Anxiety butterflies hit me suddenly so I put Lisa on speaker and decided to go see for myself. "Well Lena, people think that you are sol are dating...fans captured photos of you two together.. You guys should come home now". She explained to me as I saw the photos for myself. Where? When? How? I don't remember seeing anyone else taking photos of us other than the people at the cafe. Wow these photos do look very romantic.

"I was about to head home anyways" I told Lisa. "Great, I'll see you and Sol when you two get here" she sounded so sternly, almost like a mom. "Okayy?" I replied kind of confusedly. I feel like Sol and I are in some kind of trouble. "Please hurry I need to talk to Sol". She hung up before I could say anything more. I sighed.

I finally got into my car and decided I should warn Sol about the vibes Lisa has right now. "Lena, I'm so sorry" she started to apologize. "For what?" I asked her confusedly. "The photos people took of us, and the rumors they're making... I'm sorry if I made things complicated for you" she explained with such worry. I shook my head and rested my hand on her knee lightly. "That isn't your fault, it's okay...plus I don't really mind it honestly, I think it's cool how many people support us even though we're not really dating" I laughed softly. She gave me a half smile as if she still feels guilty, but at least she knows I'm not mad at her in any way. I kissed her cheek lightly.

Then I remembered about the phone call I had with Lisa. I cleared my throat nervously. "Sol, we might be in trouble with Lisa...she sounded mad over the phone" it was hard for me to tell her since she was already so worried about the photos. But I think it's better to warn her. "Oh no, I hope she's not too mad" she looked down at her lap. "And like not to make you nervous but Lisa also told me that she needs to talk with you". Sol crossed her arms visibly feeling uncomfortable. She shook her head softly as if she's either confused or still disappointed about the photos.

"Well I guess we better go home now instead of making her wait longer" I started the car and quickly put my seatbelt on before driving off...
