Secret

Chapter 11

Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait. I got distracted with my other stories and was having a major writer block with this chapter.
I'm starting on Chapter 12. Chapter 13&14 will be released together and Chapter 15 is the last chapter before the hiatus. I will go into more detail around Chapter 14.

"As you all saw, Zero is a vampire." Kaname begins as he addresses the night class.

"He was bitten 10 years ago by Shizuka after she killed his family and had started becoming a level E. A few months ago, after Yuki pleading, I had given him my blood to keep him sane and now he is a Level D," Kaname explains as he looks out to all of them.

"What happened a few hours ago, must be him starting to fall again. Under no circumstances, do any of you go after him. He is my responsibility and the truth about him will be kept secret." He affirms, "We don't need anyone from the vampire council or the hunter association finding out the truth during their visit. We will deal with this once they leave and everything is in the clear. Understand?" He demands his eyes flashing red, in dominance.

They all nod, feeling their vampire side cower in fear from the dominant aura coming from Kaname. Takuma moves in front of Kaname, to ease the thick tension from his dominant scent.

"We know you have questions, but right now isn't the time to be asking them. All you need to know is that Zero will be soon joining the night class since his secret is now out." He spoke with a smile on his face. "Classes for tomorrow and tonight have been canceled, so relax but stay on campus. If you need anything, one of the butlers will go out and get it."

"Dismiss," Kaname commands, as he turns around and goes towards his office with Takuma following him. He needs to get in contact with Zero before he goes on his mission. They need to talk about his recent blackout and figure out why Zero has a lack of control over his emotions.

Something earlier triggered Zero to the point of choking and bearing his fangs at Yuki. A small voice in his head tells him it's because of the way he was talking to Yuki, but he wasn't even acting his usual way towards her. He was being more friendly than romantic.

Kaname walks inside his office and flops down into his chair. Takuma walks in, a few seconds later and closes the door behind him. He walks slowly over to him as he makes eye contact with him.

"I don't know what's going on with him," Kaname confesses as he throws his hands up in defeat. "No Level D goes through the changes that Zero does. And he can't be falling because I would be feeling it."

Takuma sits on the side of his desk. "He also shouldn't be able to sedate your beast but he does." He brings up, "You having a mate is rare, but it seems like you found him, and you two's bond is becoming stronger each day."

"I know Taku, but I can't do more. I could seriously kill him if I didn't hold myself back, every time we are together." Kaname mumbles as he rubs his chest.

"It's starting to get harder to do that. The beast inside me keeps screaming at me to properly mate him, but.....I'm scared that if I do, I would kill him." A worry expression appears on Kaname's face as he looks at Takuma. "He may be getting stronger but he's not strong enough to handle the Real me. "

"I know, but the power that radiated off was very thick. It reminded me of yours when you use 30% percent of your powers. " He brings up as he moves off Kaname's desk and goes to his bookshelf to search for something.
