Chapter 8: Remembering Him.

Alright.... I'm sorry for this rediculously long time to upload. I deserve to be slapped. But I'll make it up to you! Promise! Please let's get this story out there, because I'm really hoping that you'll like this story!

Recap: Alyssa has finally read how she met Riley.

This chapter is basically about Riley , and how she remembers certain things. Her mother also lets herself out a bit more.

"Please? For me? Babe, we've been together for 9 months... I think I've been good." Riley says, a smirk covering his face. He's perfect.

"No... Riley. Please, listen. I hate my mother, but I think she's right about not letting me on the pill... because I don't want to be knocked up. So... let's just do what we can without you actually needing me on birth control. Okay?" I ask. I love him, but I don't think I'm willing to do it . Yet! I will, eventually. I know. Our touches are sparking, and he's beautiful. And he's a virgin too. So we can still be pure, if we marry each other.

"Let's have fun, then babe. I know what I'm doing."

That should have been a siren in my mind. But it wasn't.

Between kissing, he slips his hand up my shirt. I let him, and then he undoes my bra strap. I allow it. Slowly, he undresses me, but I think, 'We're pushing limits'

Well, what other limits are there when he's inside you? And when he makes you feel so beautiful. So I let it happen. Again and again and again.

I wake up with a shudder, and a muted scream. I'm not a virgin? What kind of girl am I? Or was I? "You awake, Alyssa?" Mom shouts.

I hurridly get out of bed and yell a response back. I dress in whatever I find and head on downstairs. When I sit down, I tell her. "Mom? I'm... not a virgin."

A plate drops, crumbling into a million pieces. She turns. "I... didn't know! I don't know any of this, Alyssa! I didn't read your journal. So help me god, when you were lying in the hospital bed, I tried. I couldn't break the bond of your personal life. I wanted to, to fix things. But in my heart, I knew I would never want to read what's in that book. I know it would change how I thought about you forever. I will love you forever. But I want to read that book. Myself. Okay?"

"Yes."

"That son of a bitch, I will kill him! He ruined us, you know that? Our whole family, and that stupid boy came in and changed everything! I hate him! He took everything from you, and... even things I warned you about! I don't blame you, that bastard was quite the scam-artist. He changed you, from my beautiful, misunderstood baby into a mental case! Damn it!" She throws another plate. It breaks, flecking off the door. She sighs, "I'm... sorry. I didn't mean that." Her eyes are heavy looking. They've been carrying too much.

"What did he do to me?" I don't answer her.

"He broke you. He's broken many people. You were, in his definition, 'the hardest'." Her throat is scratchy. Her eyes fill with tears. "You'll never remember your first boyfriend, your bestfriend, or your first kiss. And now, he's taken away your first time. I'll never forgive him. Please promise you'll do the same?" Now, tears are spilling.

"Why are you sad?" I do not understand.

She huffs out in exasperation. "I'm sad, because... everything, is my fault. And I can't take it. I need a break. Can you just stay in your room today, I'll do the same. I'll get you your meals, but... just don't disturb me. I'm sorry. I love you." And she bolts for the stairs. I eat cereal, and go to my room.

When I open the book, I see blood. A page full of blood. No writing is visible. Does this mean, I wasn't meant to see it?

Sorry if it's weak! I promise it'll pick up! I know you're all scratching your heads, wanting to know what happened. I'll break it down for you....

1. Alyssa is remembering her and Riley having sex for the first time. (Not a wetdream, ya perv.)

2. Alyssa tells her mother, which causes her mom to go insane, and flip out.

3.Alyssa's mom explains how She's never read the journal, so she doesn't know these things about her daughter.

4. Alyssa discovers a page filled with blood in her book, and she feels maybe it was purposely covered so nobody can read it.
