"Maks, how are we going to announce this today?"

"I don't know. Let's look up some ideas."

Meryl went on Pintrest and looked up gender reveal ideas. The second one caught her attention.

"Maks! This is what we are going to do!" she said while pointing to the picture.

"I like that. Oh I just got an idea to go with it. A cute picture to do before we post the gender one. We need to go to the store to get supplies. We should also go get paint to paint the nursery. And maybe shop for furniture."

"Whoa Maks. Slow down. We can do all that but we have plenty of time to get furniture and all. Let's just look at options today and figure out the theme."

"Ok. Let's go!" He jumps up and grabs her purse and hands it to her. She slips on sandals and he slipped on shoes and they were out the door. First they stopped at the local party store to pick up the things they would need for the pictures. Then they went to Babies R Us. They looked at the different cribs. Meryl fell in love with one of the cribs. It was a dark wood crib. It looked like it was made for a princess.

"Maks, I know I said let's just look today but this is the crib. I want this one."

"Anything for you Princess." He bought the crib. They also bought the other furniture that belonged with the crib.

"Thank you Maks. We don't have to set them up right away. We can wait a little."

"Well they are going to deliver them to us but you're right. We can set them up whenever we want as long as it is before the baby comes."

Next they were off to the paint store.

"Hi. Can I help you two?"

"Hi. We are looking for paint for our nursery,"

"Oh how wonderful. What color are you thinking?"

"I was thinking of doing three pink walls and one a light purple color." Meryl smiled as she shared her vision.

"Oh that will be beautiful. Let's go look at some colors."

They followed the man over to the paint colors. He was a cute older gentleman. She could tell the man had no clue who they were.

"So here are the pinks. There are so many different shades. What looks good to you?"

Meryl and Maks stared at the colors. There sure were a lot of colors. It ranged from dark pinks that were almost red, to light pinks, almost like a blush color.

"I love this one. It's even called Princess Pink" Maks said with a smile. It was light yet bright. It was perfect.

"I love it too! That's the pink! I want that one" Meryl says.

"You got it. So you want the Princess Pink by Valspar. Two cans."

"Thank you! Let's look at purples now."

They moved down to the purples.

"Here you go. Look away." The old man smiled at them. She was standing there with her hands on her belly and Maks had just put the paint cans down and put his hands in his pockets.

"Maks, this is it. Princess Purple." Everything Princess for our little Princess."

"I love it." He kisses her and then turns to the man.

"This is the purple we want." It was Princess Purple by Behr. It was darker than the pink and would be perfect for the accent wall.

"You'll probably only need one can. What color are the walls now?"
