Their dorm had been quieter than usual these past weeks. Ever since their failed attempt at an intervention, the hyungs hadn't been able to properly talk to their maknae. Every conversation would be one to two sentences long, nothing more.
What was worse was that neither side wanted to admit they were wrong. Stubborn as always, Jungkook kept insisting that he deserved an apology, even though it would be much easier to just apologize and be over with this all.
But that was old news.
"Woah," Jimin stared outside as more snowflakes fell. "Look Hobi-hyung, it's still snowing!" The snow had begun the previous night, and he couldn't help but get a little excited. The littles loved playing in the snow, after all. Hoseok joined Jimin in watching the snow, a thin layer of white already covering the green pigment of the lawn.
"Wow, its really starting to feel like December." Hoseok hummed, "You think this one will stick?"
"Hopefully," Jimin rested his arms on the windowsill, "Minnie wants to make a big snowman this year. Last year's snow was too watery."
"You feel like slipping today, don't you."
Minnie didn't even have to answer, "Just worried though," the little slipped uneasily, worried that Jungkook would be there to see. Ever since that day, none of the littles felt comfortable coming out. Minnie couldn't help it, no matter how hard he'd try to stay big, he'd slip eventually. Staying big all the time was just too exhausting.
"Don't worry baby, Jungkookie won't be upset."
"What if he is though."
"He won't, I promise."
Their conversation came to a stop when a pair of socked-footsteps approached.
It was Jungkook, moping around as usual. He seemed interested in the snow as well, but had no intentions of joining his hyungs by the window. Instead, he turned on the TV, to keep his mind off of them.
As the youngest flipped through tv channels, Hoseok reassured Minnie, "See, he's not mad."
"You slip too?" Minnie asked, wanting to know if the others would come out.
"Not today, sorry sweetheart."
As they talked, Jungkook tried to not pay any attention. It was obvious that they were talking about him. He knew everyone was being extra cautious around him, now that he was known as the "little-hater". It's not like he could do anything to fix it now; the only way he'd revoke that title would be to come out as one, and that would be impossible since he wasn't even a little anymore. He already fixed that problem.
He finished surfing through the channels when he came across the weather, just what he was looking for. He'd been hoping to get out of the dorm today, just to escape from his hyungs. Yugyeom had offered for him to sleepover, unaware about Jungkook's current circumstances. The maknae had agreed.
"There's a lot of snow to be expected during the day. Especially in the northern region, so Seoul, Incheon, and Suwon, around those areas." The weatherman was pointing towards a colorful blob that represented the snow.
He continued, "Along with the snowfall, there may be occasional showers of freezing rain, so be sure to bundle up today if you plan on going out, or just don't. Stay inside instead, you'd be doing yourself a favor."
'There goes my nice day,' he thought, knowing full well that he probably wouldn't make it to Yugyeom's dorm. He had even began to pack his stuff out of sheer excitement; just to leave. The littles would surely be disappointed by the news; the rain would probably freeze over the snow, making both shoveling and playing in the snow quite the chore.
