【BAD LUCK】
"Kace! Just the man I wanted to see!" The green haired psychopath exclaimed with sarcastic glee.Kace was a burly man, with a head of healthy brunette hair, and even more on his big arms. He was a man's type of man. He grunted instead of speaking, and picked his teeth with knives. He was only in his mid thirties, but wrinkles and grey hairs appeared more and more every day he looked after Leon and Lina.
The Joker entered Kace's office at the top of the warehouse, and made himself comfortable on the seat opposite him.
"Y'know, I just had the most wonderful conversation with one of your employees." He began. Kace made no attempt to look up. "A little girl with hair like freshly fallen snow. Yes, very interesting indeed. So - cute. Makes me wonder why she was all the way in the back. Almost like you were hiding her away!" He laughed at his own joke - which wasn't much of a joke, mind you.
Kace tried not to look up immediately, and when he did, he tried to hide the alarm in his eyes. He had asked Leon to do one thing this afternoon. Stay away.
"I didn't know she was there." The leader stated simply.
"What, you're letting your people do what they want now?" Joker asked with a head tilt.
"I can't control her. She's a wild card."
"She's a wild card. I'm a Joker. A fitting pair, don't you agree?"
He put down his papers. "What is it you want, Joker?"
"What is it I want?" The green haired man began to shout, baring his yellow teeth like a rabid beast. "Maybe a little respect from my men, that'd be nice. For me to walk in to the home of my own revolution and not be looked at by the men I own like I have no place here!" He slammed his fist on the table for dramatic emphasis, knocking a book off of the table.
But Kace didn't respond to his outburst. He didn't even flinch. He simply continued to stare at him, bored. The Joker slowly edged closer to the man's face, and when he still made no move, he burst into a fit of madness-induced laughter.
"See! See! This is why I like you, Kace. You're a stand up guy. A classic kind of man. Which is why I'm gonna be honest with you. There's a rat around here. And when I find them, I'm going to kill them." He paused, leaving a distasteful feeling in the air. "Let me repeat that for you. When I find them, I'm going to kill them."
"What if someone finds them before you?" Kace caught up with what the Joker was insinuating.
"I don't care what you do with them, I just want them gone. Get rid of the rat, however you want, just get rid of it." He stressed the last part, the true Joker finally beginning to show. "I'm being lenient here. Too lenient. Actually, I'm second guessing myself right now." The Joker looked up for a minute, having a conversation in his own mind.
