It was about a year after the incident with Bob's gang and Johnnycake. Now, here I was, having an arm around Johnny's shoulders while sitting in Buck's car in the parking lot of a Dairy Queen with Sodapop and Steve. Johnny had convinced me to go on a Double Date with Sodapop and Steve. I agreed reluctantly. Though I wasn't having as bad as a time as I'd thought I'd be having. I was grinning and laughing softly since Soda and Johnny were cracking jokes left and right.

I was having a good time while we were there, probably just because Johnny was there. Every time he smiled, I felt my heart take a tug most of the time, I was leaning against him or just leaning against my seat dozing off. Sometimes they talked about things I never gave a shit for, but I listened to him anyway. "Dallas, you alright?" Johnny said softly, tugging on my jacket. I nodded slowly. "Sorry, baby, I just get tired when I'm listening to something for too long," I mumbled, yawning while he smiled a little.

"Oh, that's alright. Besides, Sodapop and Steve should be getting back home," Johnny said while Steve looked at him, confused. "What? But it's only-" "Well, you guys were getting freaky in the car. I think Dallas wants to wake up to that." Johnny said sassily while Sodapop's face heated up and looked away. "I told you, Steve!" Sodapop complained while Steve just leaned against Sodapop. "You liked it either way Pepsi-cola." He murmured.

I rolled my eyes at them and turned back around facing forward. I started up the car and drove out of the parking lot, heading to Soda's house. The whole time Steve and Soda were teasing each other before they started to make out. It made me and Johnny uncomfortable cause we kept giving each other side looks and then looking away. Johnny was blushing furiously while I just focused on driving.

A wave of relief fell over our shoulders when we got to the house. The two stopped, got out of the car, and walked into the house. I drove again, heading to my place while Johnny sat there quietly. I turned to him after stopping the car, "What's wrong, baby? You've been quiet. I understand being uncomfortable because of those two love birds. They have no decency..."

"N-No, it's not that. Well, it was, but it didn't bother me, more so distracted me." Johnny said in a nervous tone. He was fiddling with his fingers and staring down at them. "If you want, we can go and watch a movie at the Nightly Double. Might take your mind off of Soda and Steve." I suggested, but he shook his head. "Alright then, just tell me what you want to do," I said, driving the car again.

I sat in silence for a few minutes before I felt a tug on my jacket. "Yeah Johnnycake?"

"Can you pull over please?"

Johnny's voice was soft, but in a tone, I couldn't quite catch. I nodded and soon pulled over into the lot since we were passing by. I turned off the car and looked at him. "So what's up?" I asked, only for him to slowly and carefully climb over the control stick part of the car and onto my lap.

"I was distracted by Steve and Sodapop because of their intimacy. They were all over each other and..." Johnny's face tinted a dark crimson. "I imagined us being like, intimate. I imagined you touching me..." He admitted seeming shameful. I blushed a bright red, feeling my face heat up as my mind wandered imagining it. All over Johnny and going farther than we usually do when we have our little makeout sessions.

"I always felt so embarrassed at the end of our sessions cause I always wanted more," Johnny said, grabbing onto the scruff of my jacket and looking at me with...lust. "I can't wait any longer, Dallas...I need you now." He said in a begging tone. "Can't you wait until we get to my apartment? We're in public." I said softly, he whined, and after a few seconds, he nodded and climbed back into his seat with a little pout.
