Chapter Ten

SAKURA

Next day Sakura and Ino swiftly walked towards the Hyuga compound in the camp. They had to meet up with Hinata and deliver a special scroll in Kumogakure and Hinata has to perform the spell that is included in the scroll.

It's not safe to send information through internet because Danzo's hunters could get it easily, so they have to do everything in old style.

Last night, Sakura told Ino about the discovery of Karin's blood and antidote's connection. The pinkette was sitting in the living-room reading medical books for fun when Ino started joking about how she could do that for fun. Sakura was about to respond when her eyes landed on one of the special herbs that she needed to add in the antidote. It turned out that they could get in Kumogakure and by luck, Lord Third gave them a mission to accompany Hinata in Kumo and to protect her.

While there, Sakura has to check Kumo's hospital and lend them a hand if needed, also giving them some bottles of poison if needed but cloud village's supernaturals aren't that bothered by hunters as much as leaf village's are.

"Hi, Neji!" Ino greeted long brown haired Hyuga who they met on their way to Hinata's.

"Hello, ladies." Neji greeted back. "Looking for Lady Hinata?" The girls nodded. "She's in her room. I'll inform her that you're here." They thanked him and Neji walked away.

Few minutes later Hinata came with her hand bag ready to go on a mission.

"Hey, Hinata!" Ino and Sakura waved at her and midnight blue haired girl repeated the gesture.

"Shall we go?" Hinata asked and the duo nodded simultaneously.

They stepped out of the camp's borders and jaunted to the nearest train station.

"Ahh, I can take a nap before we get in Kumo. I didn't get enough sleep." Ino spoke when they sat on their places.

"Same, girl." Hinata smiled exhaustedly. "Last night me and Tenten stayed up until we got this spell to perfection. It kind of drained me."

"You guys overwork yourselfs too much!" Sakura scolded her and Hinata smiled sheepishly.

"Oh, Naruto's calling!" She exclaimed.

Once she answered, Naruto's face showed up on the screen and Hinata pressed her camera button. "Hey, Hinata! How are you girls?"

Hinata smiled lovingly. "We're alright, right now we're in the train, there's still several hours left before we get in the cloud village."

"Well, if you'll need company you can call me! And Sasuke too, though he's too grumpy this morning, being his emo self but two times worse today!" By the time he finished his statement Sasuke smacked him in the head.

"Shut up, dobe." Uchiha's voice was heard from the other side of the screen.

"Who are you calling dobe, teme!" Naruto irked and glared at him.

The girls chuckled at their behaviour.
"Naruto, did my dad leave?" Ino asked.

"Your dad? Sasuke did Inoichi Yamanaka leave?"

"He left an hour ago." He answered.

"You heard 'em!" Naruto told Ino and nodded. "Oh by the way, Choji asked you to say hi from him to Karui!"

"Who's Karui?" Sakura questioned.

"She's Choji's girlfriend." Hinata explained. "She's a werewolf." She whispered the last one and Sakura nodded in understatement.

They talked for a while and listened to Naruto complaining about Sasuke's grumpy behaviour.

"Honestly, my boyfriend talks about Sasuke more than he talks about anything other." Hinata said with a laugh and the girls laughed as well.

"It's a question if he's dating you or Sasuke." Ino snorted.

"If Sasuke heard this you'd be gone in no time." Sakura giggled.

Hinata and Ino shared a knowing smirk. "While you mention it, what's going on between you and Sasuke?" Hyuga questioned and Sakura looked at her being clueless.

"Me and Sasuke? What do you mean?" The pinkette gave her a puzzled look.

"C'mone, forehead! We know you guys have something going on!" Ino exclaimed.

"There's nothing going on. We barely even talk!" Sakura told them hoping to drop the conversation.

"Do you want to talk more?" Ino asked with a mischievous smirk and Sakura rolled her eyes with flushed face.

"Shut up." She looked away. "Anyway, how long is it till we reach Kumo?"

The girls let Sakura end the talk but the pinkette knew they might bring it up again.

"In an hour. But before that I'll take my nap." Ino said and Hinata agreed.

While the girls where taking their nap, Sakura was talking to Tenten on the phone. She told her every important information about Kumogakure and it's residents.

Apparently, Raikage's younger brother is a werewolf and he's close with Naruto. Raikage himself is a werewolf too and Sakura has to lay low, she met A before and he knows her mother too. If he recognises her he'll definitely tells her mother.

And Sakura doesn't need that.

Her mother shouldn't know where she is. Even though Lord Third might've told her, the pinkette still doesn't want to openly alert her mom.

"We're here!" Sakura poked the other two girls to wake them up but only Hinata opened her eyes.

"I can't wake her up." Sakura said. "I give up."

"Oh, I can wake her up." Hinata said and moved her hand and snapped her fingers in front of Ino. A spark came out and touched the blonde's cheek. She instantly woke up.

"That's like pinching her cheeks." Hyuga explained to Sakura.

"Yeah and it hurts!" Ino pouted. "Anyways, are we there?"

"Mm-hmm. We've arrived." Sakura announced.

They got of the train and walked towards the Raikage's office.
