Chapter Eleven

SAKURA

Sakura and the girls walked inside the Raikage's office and the pinkette had to admit she was a bit nervous. She hoped the Mayor of the Cloud village, or the Raikage of Kumogakure as people often called him, wouldn't realize who she truly was.

"You can go in, Mr A is waiting for you." The receptionist said and motioned the trio to go inside. They knocked on the door and after granting permission, they went in.

The girl greeted the Raikage and after moving from the formalities, they went straight to the mission. Sakura stayed quiet while Hinata explained everything about the spell that the scroll contained. After that, the mayor gave her instructions to where to perform the spell. The trio was about to leave when A spoke up again.

"Miss Haruno, would you mind to stay for a minute?" He looked straight into Sakura's eyes, causing the poor girl to shake from nervousness. She nodded at her friends who walked outside.

"Is there a problem, sir?" She questioned and tried to even her voice.

The mayor shook his head in negative. "On the contrary, actually. I wanted to thank you for agreeing to help out hospital with the antidote case. Hiruzen described you well. And if you're anything like your mother, I'm sure we won't be disappointed."

Shoot. He knew who she was. But at least he didn't say it in front of everyone. "I'll do everything I can, mayor."

A nodded. "Don't worry, you're secret is safe with me."

Sakura sighed from relief, bowed her head and left quickly. She tried to calm herself before reaching her friends curios expressions.

"He just wanted to thank me for deciding to help the Kumo's hospital and gave me some instructions." She gave them a truth an a lie. She had to because they wouldn't believe her otherwise and Sakura really didn't want anyone knowing who she was. That would just cause unnecessary problems.

"I have to go with Hinata." Ino told her once the girls left the building. While performing the spell, Hinata would need protection and that's where Ino would come in.

"And I'll go to the hospital." Sakura replied.

"We'll pick you up after I finish the spell. I have booked a hotel room for us and we'll be staying there over the night." Hinata informed. The girls nodded and departed.

Sakura made her way towards the hospital. On her way, she couldn't help but look around the city. People were bustling, opening shops, talking, walking their animals or playing with their children. It was purest moment of life where everything was in motion. And those people were lucky because none of them had an idea that supernatural existed. They have never gone through the transformation of becoming a vampire. Never had to control their instinct to not harm anyone. They were pure.

For Sakura, becoming a vampire was the worst thing that has ever happened to her. And she had seen lots of awful things. She lost her human side, her life and her family. She had every right to hate supernatural but she couldn't bring herself to, because almost everyone around her was either a vampire, witch or werewolf. She couldn't hate others, but she could hate herself.

She would've starved to death if her mother didn't make her drink human blood and live, if this was called living.

Finally, she arrived at the Kumogakure hospital and gave the reception her name. The woman seemed to know the case as she silently motioned Sakura to follow her. They passed thousands of rooms until they reached a brown door with a strange symbol on it. Sakura knew some of the symbols and she easily recognised this one. It was for supernaturals.
