"Hey, how are you all feeling?" Said a deep, calming voice. I looked up to Captain Levi standing beside our table.

"I-I-I, u-uh..."
The mere sight of the man took my breath away.

"We're fine sir. Thanks." Mikasa added.

"Alright. Eren?"

All I could do was stare at his face, analyzing his toned features and clear skin. In my eyes, Levi is the definition of beautiful.

"Eren!" Armin shouted in my ear, nudging me in my arm.

"Ow! Huh?!"

Levi looked down at me with a stern, serious face, causing my nerves to rise.

"M-my apologies captain! I got caught up in a daydream.."

"We don't have time for you to be slacking off. Understand?"

"Y-Yes sir, I apologize. What did you need me for..?"

"Hange and I are ready when you are to resume experimenting with your titan. The goal this time is to determine how many times you can transform at once. Meet us at the top of the cliff when you're all set."

"Understood sir. I'll be up in a few minutes."

"Good."

He began walking away towards the hills of the field.

"The rest of you keep a lookout for approaching titans! Shoot a flare gun if you need back-up while coming across some!" He shouted across the field to the other soldiers.

"Yes sir!" My comrades said, hopping on their feet. Captain Levi was always highly respected, as he should've been. Him and Commander Erwin were above us all.

I sighed to myself, looking down relieved that Levi was gone.

"You okay?" Armin asked, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

I took a deep breath as my heartbeat was now going down. Levi always got me worked up. It wasn't his fault though, since I was the one in love with him..letting my emotions get through to me so easily.

"Toughen up." Mikasa said.

"Huh?"

I looked up at her to see her usual blank stare.

"You know Levi is counting on you. Everyone is counting on you to pull through. Stop letting your feelings get in the way."

"Yeah, you're right. Thanks Mikasa..I needed that."

Armin patted me on the back.

"We'll be up there with Levi and Erwin watching you. Break a leg."

"I got this."

I got up from the table and stretched, shaking my body and cracking my neck."Alright, see you guys up there." I said to Mikasa and Armin while walking away to the hill.

Once I reached the bottom, I deployed my ODM gear to get to the top.

When I landed, I saw him again. Levi had his back turned and was talking with Hange. I clenched my fists and took another deep breath. I couldn't afford to mess up this opportunity I had because of some stupid feelings. But with Levi, I just couldn't ignore that fervor.

"S-sir?"

"Oh, there you are. Are you ready?" He said, turning around to face me.

"I am."

"Alright. Let's get going."

"Alright Eren, show us whatcha got!" Hange exclaimed.

I nodded and turned around to face the edge of the cliff we were on. I took a deep breath as I sprinted forwards, jumping off the small cliff moments later before taking a bite out of my hand.

Within a matter of seconds, I was slowly transforming into a tall fifteen-meter titan, fresh blood splattering against my mouth while a greenish-yellow lightning strike hit me. A few seconds later, the air was filling with steam from my now transformed body, the change in my form completing itself as I released a powerful roar.

I feel my strongest in titan form. It's not hard to understand why, but I wish I believed more in myself as a human back then.

The rest of that evening, I trained in my titan form. I was still in the process of fully understanding and learning how to control this power ever since I found out I had it.
