The Day I'd Never Forget

Chapter 17

The morning sun rose, awakening all whose curtains were ajar. 

To my surprise, I woke up before Levi. I shook him awake and gave him a kiss on the forehead, alerting him that we had to go to the dining halls for breakfast.
My gash also healed overnight, seeing it wasn't present when I removed my bandages in the morning.

We decided to shower with each other.

After we were finished, we put on clean clothes, and headed out of my room. I was going off to meet up with Mikasa and Armin, while Levi headed off in the other direction to his office to get some papers first before meeting up with his squad and Erwin.

Outside my bedroom, we acted like nothing had ever happened to our comrades, and as if everything was just normal as always. But the secret wouldn't have been kept forever. Not the secret that we..fucked, but the secret of our little relationship.

I saw Armin and Mikasa sitting at one of the many tables with Connie, Sasha, Jean and Historia. When I joined them, all attention fell on me, and the brightest smile I'd ever had.

"Well someone seems to be in a good mood this morning.." Armin said, resting his head in his hand and smirking at me.

I looked down and blushed, then looked up across the room to see Levi enter the hall and sit with his squad mates. Our eyes met for a brief moment, and he smirked at me. A small smirk appeared on my face as I placed my attention on my food. 

"So, Eren? Why do you seem so happy? Did something happen?" Connie asked while looking in my direction.

"Let's just say, yesterday was a day I'd never forget." 

I began eating my food, and the others tilted their heads in confusion. 

"Well it sure is a change from him being a damn crybaby all the time." Jean bluntly stated.

I could tell that Armin was ecstatic on the inside because of the smile on his face and the look in his eyes. He knew for sure that something happened between Levi and I. Mikasa on the other hand was also confused as to why I was in such a good mood, let alone blushing. Though after giving up on trying to get it out of me, she brushed it off her shoulder and was just happy that I was happy, continuing to mind her business.
Sasha was chowing down on her food as usual, not really paying attention to the conversation.

For the rest of the day, my legs wobbled and shook slightly as I walked. I was hoping the others wouldn't notice so I wouldn't have had to come up with a dumb lie to cover it.

Everything was still normal, all except for me and Levi.
We decided to keep our "relationship" on the low for a while until we were both comfortable with it being put out in public. He did let me tell Armin and Mikasa since they were closest to me, but that was it for then. Of course Armin freaked out, and Mikasa was left in shock. I could tell she hated the idea of me being with him, but she saw how happy I was when Levi and I made it official. So she learned to live with it.

Ever since that magical night, life only got better and it was all thanks to Levi..
Every time I thought about it, it was as if I was reliving it..undergoing his deep, slow, relaxing strokes once more...
That day will forever be my favorite memory of Levi, as we also continue to make new memories together.

That day..is the day I'd never forget...
