I laid in the wagon, staring up at the starry night.

Levi rode in the cart with me, sitting on one of the side seats. I looked up at him, hoping he wouldn't catch me staring. He looked like he had something on his mind judging by his face..

He was looking up to the sky with a blank stare, and to be honest I saw him smirk slightly..

It wasn't a complete smile...but that was my first time seeing Levi show some emotion in his face. What I didn't understand was why.

The experiment didn't go as planned that day, and I was a long way from sealing Wall Maria and putting an end to this hell on earth. So I thought to myself, what the hell was there to smile about?

Even so..he was beautiful to me...

His hair was as beautiful as the night sky as it flew with the wind, basking in the moonlight. He sat with his right leg resting on the other, having his arms to each side of him resting on the edge of the cart. He was looking up at the sky, staring up at the beautiful stars. He appeared so relaxed in the moment..

I was lost in a daydream, gazing at his smooth-looking skin, glistening hair, and abs that you could clearly see through his shirt.
I could see a glow in his eyes from the reflection of the bright stars in front of him. He was beautiful...

"Hey, Eren." He suddenly called out.

I snapped out of it and blinked.

"Y-yes?"

"Say you were in better shape by tomorrow, would you be willing to keep training no matter how much pain you're in?"

I gained a serious expression. "Yes sir. I'll do whatever it takes."

My eyes shifted back to Captain Levi.
He was smirking lightly, sitting there in silence, staring at the sky.

He then mumbled something under his breath that was inaudible.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Hange, how close are we to Karanes?" He gave her a side eye.

"About two blocks away..why?"

"No reason.."

With all the smirking and usual behavior, I could feel that Levi was up to something..but I didn't bother to question at all.
