"hi" i said to this familiar face that i feel i've seen before but can't figure out where i've seen him from.
"wassgood?" he said with his deep voice & accent.
immediately got chills. it got awkward after by the way we were both studying each other's face as we may have cross paths before.
we eventually go inside, he held the door open for me. as we are waiting in line, i break the awkward silence between us..
"soo, you'ont talk much?"
"not rly, i'm laid back" he proceeds to say
"feel you, whas ya name again?" "alyx or you could call me guapo"
i nod slowly turning away & moving up in the line.. "im leighlani"
i feel somebody staring at me through the glass on the other side of the doorway but i'm not paying it any attention..
after ab three to five minutes we finally get to the window where we are getting tickets for our skates.
"hey boo! you back again? you minus well work here." the employee, Kandy said to me.
i'm a regular, i love the rink. i've always skated since i was a little girl. shit, prolly came out the womb skating. i still felt someone staring at me from behind the glass but i continued to brush it off.
"yes honey, you know i fuck with y'all heavy & saturday's always live... dj lil yella always come with the bangers...just one" i said as im pulling out my card.
alyx steps up saying "make it two" & pays cash for my ticket & his.
i look at him & smile alittle. "um.. i had it? but i appreciate it" he smirked lightly "no problem shawty"
we grab the tickets & we walk inside. nyier & leigha was waiting at us on the other side of the doorway.
we go over to the line for our skates. im bopping my head to the music. i still feel someone staring at me so i take a look around & don't see anyone looking so i proceed to brush it off again.. it finally hits me, i know this face.
i turn to alyx & point..
'yo now i know why you look so familiar. i seen you at the gas station the other night at qt"
he smirked lightly "i remember you now" he said chuckling as nyier pushed him round alittle, smiling
'this was shawty you said was soooo fine you seen at the qt?" nyier said covering his mouth w/ his fist cheesing hard
"maaan chill" alyx said trying not to show his dimples
chills again.
leigha giggling "ah shit! why yeen get my bitch number then?"
"i wasn't rly feeling my mood that day, didn't want to rub it off on her. her energy looked to high up didn't want to fuck it up" he said glancing at me
we moved up in the line. i looked at my shoes, then back at him & did a side smile; nodding.
i turn to look at him 'well whas your excuse now?'
he blushed alil "nothing, u trynn gimme yo number?"
i put my hand out for his phone, he places it in my hand & i put my number in it & saves it. i gave it back smiling.
i turn to leigha to see her jus cheesing so hard.
maleigha pulls me toward her & says ina whispering voice "is that who you was telling me ab? the gas station? sexy?"
i gave her that look like bitch yesss & she started squealing, she was more hype than i was.
we finally made it to the front of the line as we were all talking amoungst ourselves. we skated for felt like hours, til the rink closed. i was extremely tired so i was calling it a night.
leigha was saying her goodbyes to her man. as alyx & i stood there watching them til he broke the silence.
he finally says 'i rly had a good time tonight, ion een go out like that.'
i smiled, 'i had a good time too.' i looked at his eyes, he was jus so fine..i ended up day dreaming for a quick second.
leigha finally finished their good nights & she started walking towards us..
'ready best?' i nodded, i gave alyx a side hug. said goodnight & we headed to the car.
alyx yelled out; "ima hit yo phone!" i smirked & said: "okay!"
we hopped in the car & talked about our night all the way back to the dorm. i got undressed & laid my towel out as i heard my phone vibrate.

i cheesed hard asl. started doing alil dance & was going to reply back immediately but ended up getting in the shower first. i got out the shower, moisturized my body, got dressed & texted him back.
"who's this?" knowing gahdamn well this my new soon to be man he don't know yet but he is going to be mine...
