Snape's Wife

Summer

As Maahira took Harry with herself inside the small cottage Harry felt a warm feeling inside him,the cottage sure was small but had a very warm feeling, outside it had a small garden with bright flowers and some other plants which he did not know about.

The inside of the cottage was cosy and had a homey vibe to it.The walls were covered with books till the brim,and only one wall was bare and just had pictures hung over it.Maahira walked further inside but Harry stayed in the hall and was staring at the pictures on the wall.Their were many pictures but most of them had a certain black haired man and a red-maroon eyed woman.They were his professor's that harry knew for sure.It was so odd to see professor Snape smiling,the man never even curled his lips in a small smile but here he was smiling brightly staring at the red-maroon eyed woman in his arms.Their were pics of them both when they were kids,one such pic had another green eyed girl with the two of them.Harry was staring at the girl keenly.

"That is Lily"Maahira said from behind him as she saw him staring at the younger version of his mother.

"She was beautiful"Harry said.

"Yes she was"Maahira said with a soft smile.

"It's weired to see Professor Snape smiling"Harry commented.

"Well he is a man and he does shows emotions  just to a few people though"Maahira said smiling.

"Come I will show you your room"Maahira said and she levitated his trunk behind them as they walked towards the room.

"So you can stay over here for the summer,if you wish you can add changes to this room......you are free to access all the places of this house, except for the potions lab which is underground and you can read books from the shelves in the hall,but make sure not to damage them in any way or Severus will not be pleased"Maahira said.

"He will come here?"Harry asked,as he remembered they had some fight because of which she didn't sat in the teacher's compartment in the train.

"Offcourse it is his home as well"Maahira said as a matter of fact.

"I thought you two had a fight"Harry said.

"Not a fight it was just a banter, it's common between us nothing for you to worry about...He will be here,he might have had some work with some professor,but he will come soon...you get freshened up and then come downstairs so that we could have some dinner"Maahira said.

Harry nodded and Maahira left his room,she went down set the dining table which only had 4 chairs with all the food she had made.

There was a pop and Maahira turned to look and saw her husband who stood in the middle of the hall.She was about to say something but before that they both heard footsteps down the stairs and Severus immediately pulled his wand ready to strike whoever it was,but then he saw it was Harry Potter coming down the stairs.He stared at Harry as Harry did the same and then he looked at Maahira as if asking for an explanation.

"Severus I invited him over for the summer"Maahira said calmly.

Severus gave her a are-you-serious-look.

"I am serious and both of you have to atleast be civil with eachother I don't want to be the refree in your fights....you go and freshen up the dinner is all set we can have out conversation after dinner...Harry come sit down"Maahira said.

Severus left the hall without any more glance at Potter and Harry obliged Maahira and sat on the chair next to hers.

"I think professor Snape isn't happy about my stay.....I don't want to cause trouble... it's fine I will just go to my aunt's....you can drop me their?"Harry said as he sat down and she was serving him.
