Christmas

Christmas rolled in and the students were all set to go to their respective homes for the festivity,some decided to stay back at Hogwarts.Ron and Hermione were leaving for their homes,Harry was invited offcourse but Dumbeldore as usual denied him to visit them stating his safety would be in question if he stepped out of Hogwarts,he did gave him the option to visit his Aunt Petunia but Harry immediately declined the offer and agreed to stay at Hogwarts.Ron and Hermione felt bad for leaving him all alone at Hogwarts but he assured them that he would be fine.

"Are we supposed to go somewhere or stay at Hogwarts?"Aayan asked his father as they stood in the Potions class once the lecture was over.

"We will be leaving for our home once I make sure all the Slytherin's have boarded the train safely"Severus said looking up from the parchment.

"Okay....what should I pack then?"Aayat asked.

"Please do not ask such questions from me,go and trouble your mother for this,I have other important work to do"Severus said and Aayat pouted and left with her brother.

Harry bid by to Ron and Hermione and was on his way back to the great hall for breakfast.

"You didn't went to your aunt's for Christmas?"Aayat asked him as she sat beside him on the table,so did Aayan.

"My aunt's busy so she can't have me over for now"Harry said plainly.

"Ohhh"Aayat said and Harry just nodded, playing with his bacon rather then eating it.

"Well,you can come with us then"Aayat said and Harry looked at her for a moment touched by her kindness but then said.

"No I can't, Dumbeldore won't allow that"Harry said.

"Well,mom is your godmother not Dumbeldore,so she has rights over you which he doesn't,so don't worry and talk to mom about it"Aayan said.

Harry then grinned for the first time that morning and immediately dashed from there to talk to Maahira.

"He was feeling sad"Aayat said as soon as Harry left.

"You did good by inviting him for Christmas,he is nice"Aayan said.

"What is it Potter?Have you lost your way?"Severus asked in a mocking time as he saw Harry in the Potions lab.

"Um..Can you tell me where Professor Maahira is?"Harry asked a lil hesistantly.

"And why are you looking for her?May I ask?"Severus asked raising his eyebrows.

"Um..mm...We...wel...well I just wanted to talk to her about something"Harry said with a bit of stammering.

"She is with Minvera"Severus said and then went back to the work he was doing before.

"Ohk,Thank you so much Professor Snape"Harry said and left.

Severus stared at his retreating figure and was thinking of the reason he needed to talk to his wife about,then he brushed it off and continued his work.

"Professor Maahira may I speak to you for a second?"Harry asked Maahira as soon as he saw her with Minvera in the great hall.

"Sure,I will be with you in a second"Maahira said and excused herself from Minvera and went with Harry.

"What's the issue?"Maahira asked him as they stopped in an empty corridor.

"Umm...I don't know if you will be happy hearing this,but Dumbeldore didn't allowed me to visit the Weasley's for the Christmas.....so I was wondering if you would like to have me over for Christmas?Aunt Petunia would be mad if I go to her.....you can then drop me off at the Grimmauld palace,Sirius will be okay to have me but Dumbeldore said I shouldn't have any connection with him for time being,so that has to be a secret"Harry said all together.
