Painfully, Bucky sat up fully before standing and pulling Cara to her feet. He took his tuxedo jacket off and ripped it, bandaging her wounds on each of her forearms as she looked at him crying slowly, silently. The cut on her forehead wasn't bad enough to have to bandage, which was good he thought. Bucky wiped her tears, fixing her smudged makeup before kissing her forehead. He ripped more of the tuxedo jacket so that he could stop the bleeding from the gunshot to her back. When he went to remove the knife from her chest area, more ripped tuxedo jacket at the ready, but she grabbed his arm suddenly stopping him. He looked at her confused, tracing every detail of her beautiful blue eyes, no matter how sad they looked, he loved getting lost in her eyes.
"Buck you have to leave it, at least until we get home."
"What- why? Cara, that has to hurt. I can't even get it to stop bleeding either. The tip is sticking out of your back."
"It's the only thing holding that side of my dress up."
Bucky took a second look at the knife and her dress. Sure enough, that side was torn completely off of her shoulder, the top piece above the knife flapping gently in the slight breeze, the part under the knife, still holding tightly, covering her breast and the rest of that side of her body. Cara raised her eyebrows, one corner of her mouth curling up reluctantly as if to say, I told you so. Bucky pulled her in tightly, mindful of the knife and her other wounds, wincing at his own.
"Come on, we better get you back to the tower and tended to." He said kissing her forehead once again.
He wanted to kiss her as much as he could for as long as she would allow it. If she was right, and that Hydra soldier really was Steve, he was going to lose her. The one person he didn't want to live without, the only woman he had ever loved and would ever love. A few tears fell from his own eyes as he exhaled shakily. Catching this, Cara stepped back looking up at him, sadness plastering her face. To his surprise she pulled him down toward her, kissing him almost in a loving way. It was full of feeling, emotion, tenderness, passion and Bucky instantly melted into her, holding each side of her face never wanting her lips to leave his. But when they did, she pressed her forehead against his gently, pulling her bottom lip in, biting it.
"Take me home Bucky, let's get fixed up, then I just really want to go to bed."
He nodded silently, the two making their way back through the museum, several of the remaining guests shaking her hand thanking her. The mirror lens still clutched in her left hand. Cara didn't speak as they exited, Bucky telling the team they would meet them back at the tower and he would fill them in there. Several of them, especially Clint, a little more than disturbed by the knife in her chest. They walked out together silently, climbing into one of the limos. To Bucky's further shock, the second it began moving she unzipped his pants, climbing on top of him, grinding against him until he was rock hard. He thrust up into her but let her control everything, holding onto her hips feeling every inch of her body that he could, wiping away the silent tears that were falling gently down her cheeks, even though she was moaning pleasurably. Once they both came she climbed off of him, greedily cleaning his cock off with her mouth causing him to moan out loudly, sensitive from having just been inside her. He zipped his pants just as they got back to the tower, the two of them getting out and heading directly to medical.
She walked as if ghostly. Though she had heels on her steps were light, almost gliding across the smooth marble floor near silent. It was eerie in a way. Her actions in the limo, though he wasn't going to say no to her, were strange for what she was going through. Bucky couldn't wrap his mind around why, if that was Steve and he was alive, why on earth would she screw him in the limo like that. She also acted as if her wounds didn't pain her, that the knife in her chest wasn't even there, as if her heart wasn't shattering all over again. But he knew her well enough to know that she wasn't making any sense right now, wondering when she was going to explode. As they rode up the elevator she held his hand, silently, looking straight ahead but not at him. He felt powerless to her, not wanting to lose her, he needed her, craved her, but he wanted her to be happy even if it wasn't with him.
