Party At The Capitol

Gale

- Party thrown by Plutarch to celebrate the victory of the rebels

- Gale has mixed feelings as his relationship with Katniss has been crushed by Coin's last attack; it does not help at all that you miss Katniss as well

- He wants you to have fun at least but at the same time knows that it is just as difficult for you because parties at the Capitol usually mean trouble for victors

- He makes sure to stay by your side the whole time, on the one hand because he wants to make sure you are as safe and comfortable as possible and on the other hand to fend off your admirers; fame does not stop after the end of the Games

- Hence you two dance a lot to enjoy each others company

- Honestly you would have preferred to stay home, but that would have raised even more unwanted attention

- At one point you want to leave but people keep starting new conversations with you and you lose it, getting a panic attack because you feel trapped (if you haven't yet, read coping with fears)

- Gale does not hesitate to get you out of the situation, yelling at the people who do not leave you alone

Finnick

- Party thrown by Plutarch to celebrate the victory of the rebels

- You two are actually happy to attend it as it is the first time you can officially show your relationship without having to fear anything

- With Johanna close by the party promises to be fun

- You look out for Annie to make sure she is fine and you can have some comfortable conversations with her between all the chaos

- People keep bombarding Finnick and you with questions as they cannot believe you two have been a couple this whole time

- Whenever someone tries to flirt with you Finnick places his arm around your waist and complimenting you as his stunning girlfriend or he just kisses you to clarify the situation; this works the other way around as well

- You belong to the people who leave last especially because you need to take care of Johanna who is excellent at disappearing or doing stupid things in her drunk state; so babysitting her is definitely part of the party for you two as well

- But nevertheless this is the first time at the Capitol you actually enjoy yourselves

Haymitch

- The only parties Haymitch and you attend kind of together at the Capitol are the ones to win over sponsors for your tributes

- You definitely do not enjoy it

- The sponsors seem to like you to much for Haymitch's own liking but you have to go along if you want to get your tributes some sponsors; inappropriate words and touches are nothing unusual for you to deal with during those yearly events

- Haymitch keeps drinking to take his mind off of you as he knows that defending you would only make the situation way worse

- Fortunately the inappropriate behavior of the sponsors decreases over the years, although not completely

- You two are always glad to leave

Peeta

- The only Capitol parties you attend are usually weddings because everybody loves Peeta's cakes

- These events are the perfect opportunity for Peeta to share a dance with you and have great conversations with other people

- You both usually enjoy the happy setting and you love seeing each other in fancy clothes from time to time

Johanna

- Party thrown by Plutarch to celebrate the victory of the rebels

- Let us just say that Johanna is flooding the party with sarcastic jokes

- She talked to Plutarch beforehand to adjust the lighting to make sure you are comfortable (read coping with fears if you have not yet)

- When she meets Finnick everything erupts in chaos; no chance to escape the jokes, teasing and pranks

- Only few people, the ones you already know like Plutarch, Cressida etc., dare to approach you as they do not want to get on Johanna's bad side by making her accidentally jealous

- The party is fun but at the end you are utterly exhausted as you had to keep an eye on Johanna the whole night to make sure she would not pull off something too stupid

Katniss

- You never attend a party at the Capitol together but honestly you do not wish to either; too many bad experiences

- But from time to time you throw your own parties in district 12

- Drinking with Haymitch, Katniss teaching you some dances and singing together is something you both enjoy occasionally

Cressida

- You attend parties at the Capitol on a regular basis; may it be the party thrown by Plutarch to celebrate the victory of the rebels, a party to celebrate your success with your books or Cressida's with her filming or some event Cressida should film; you spend a lot of time at parties

- You do not really mind to attend them but it is not like you wish to go to them either

- Sometimes it is fun but most of the time you two are either bored as the other one is busy with their work or fans or you are simply crowded by fans who will not leave you alone

- Despite enjoying the recognition, it is exhausting

- Most of the time one of you has to drag the other one home
