When You Meet Each Other's Families

Gale

- Gale never got to meet your family as they died from an epidemic about two years before his and Katniss' father died

- Since that day you basically live with the Everdeen's, though you officially live at your own home alone

- Gale knows how it is to lose a parent, but he still has his mother and younger siblings

- Therefore he tries to integrate you as much as possible into his family, which works well

- They adore you

- His mum treats you like her own child and his siblings love playing with you

- He enjoys watching you spend time with his family

- Unfortunately you distance yourself from them after your games as you are afraid to put them in danger or to be a burden because of your broken emotional state

- Gale tries to tell you otherwise for months, but to no avail

Finnick

- His family was killed because he refused to sell his body; to not lose you too, he complies after that

- The deal with Snow is that as long Finnick complies to the prostitution, you and your family are safe and you do not have to sell your body
