Overprotective

The sun shone through the windows hitting on Y/Ns face, she roles over to find her husband the king not in bed next to her. She stretches and moans, she try's to go back to sleep but there is a knock on the door.

She whispers (come in) pretending to be asleep, aloud voice says good morning naneth. She opens one eye and see her son Legolas, she smiles at him she says (Legolas it's to early to get up go torment your father). He laughs (Naneth you promised to come on patrol this morning with me), she sits up and looks at him. ( I will get ready and meet you at the east gate, if your father sees then there will be trouble).

After getting dressed in her patrol clothes and weapons, she meets Legolas by the gate. Holding on to his arm they walk through the gate only to hear a very loud angry voice behind them( where are you both going). She slowly turns around and sees her very angry husband, she slumps her head down and walks to him. She smiles and says ( I'm just going on patrol with Legolas, I won't be long).

He pulls her away from the gate,( you are not going it's to dangerous). She looks at him( do you forget who I am my king, I am one of the best fighters with a sword I am almost as go as you) she says with a smirk. He looks down at her, ( you are not going and that's final) he picks her up over his shoulders and carries her to the throne room. She yells out (Legolas help me), he laughs his head off( sorry naneth it's to funny).

Once they reach the throne room, the king puts her down. She gives him her best death glare, as he just smiles at her. He pulls her in for a tight hug, he says( I'm just trying to protect you my love). She nods and says ( but your to overprotective my king). He kisses her forehead and hugs her tight, she says( who told you I was going on patrol). He giggles ( it was Legolas, I asked him why he was waiting and he told me), she giggles and whispers my men
