It's been three weeks since Y/N has been in Rivendell, every three days there's a letter from Thandruill telling Y/N what has been happening at home. She smiles when she see's his handwriting, she really wants to go back home.
She is standing on the balcony of the great house reading the last letter she received, smiling hard reading that Rose beat Legolas in archery. She hears footsteps towards her she looks up and sees Elrond walking towards her, she smiles at her brother and looks out at the view. He smiles at her and says ( lost in thought) she smiles and nods, she gives Elrond the letter and says( I'm missing home). He smiles at her and says ( maybe it's time to go back to Mirkwood, I think you are ready) , she smiles and looks at the view ( i will miss the view, i love being back here).
A few hours later Y/N is packed and ready to go home, her guards are ready and waiting for her. She hugs Arwen and tells her to cause chaos for her father, she looks innocently at Elrond and smiles. He giggles and says( I'm going to miss your chaos), Y/N hugs her brother tight and whispers ( see you soon for the festival). She gets up on her horse and Y/N and her guards leave Rivendell.
Three days of riding they reach Mirkwood, Y/N smiles to herself she is almost home. She orders the guards to ready weapons in case of spider or orcs, they ride through the forest looking out for danger. They are almost home when six elf's drop from the trees with their weapons raised, they yell STOP Y/N just smirks. The lead elf walks to her and says ( what is your name, she says( Y/N queen of Mirkwood ) the elf's look at her and realise the mistake they have made. They apologise to her and let her through, she was giggling to herself.
They reach the gate and get down from there horses, two guards come out to see what's happening. They see the queen and relax a little, they bow to her as she walks in to the halls. She can hear Rose and Thandruill having a little argument, she smiles and laughs at them. She walks into the throne room and say( why are you arguing), they both look at her and smile, Rose jumps into Y/Ns arms saying she missed her. Thandruill looks at his queen happy she is home. Y/N smiles at her husband, she puts Rose down and walks to Thandruill and kisses him softly ( I missed you) she whispers, he smiles ( I missed you too) he whispers.
That evening over supper they talk, Rose and Legolas are giving each other dirty looks, Y/N looks at her family and thinks it's good to be home.
